I live in vermont in one of the strangest cities I’ve ever had the displeasure and fear of moving too. I’m 38 now and for 37 years the world was milk toast. To my horror I’ve discovered I was gravely mistaken. Something tried to lure me into the woods at 3am one morning as I was trying to call my cat inside. It meowed back at me as I called mimicking my cat, but not quite right. When I got near the woods a second thing meowed further into the field and something large shifted. I have been shot, blown up, survived a coma, and I have never had anything make me feel the terror I felt in that moment. Some things knew what I was and were pretending to be my cat, and knew that I called my cat to get him inside. I walked backwards, my skin rippling from fear, I immediately woke up my wife and told her what happened and we went back outside armed. Whatever it was it didn’t stick around when there were two of us, and my cat came from behind my house in the opposite direction with the look he had as if he’d just woken up. 4 months go by and I see two orbs just above the north star that matched it’s color while bringing my daughter and her friend back from Walmart we stopped and looked at them then one sank level with the star. I panicked given I had the children with me and punched the gas as far as it would go. I got the girls inside and told them not to go out for the next few days. In 2020 I was watching Devon Larratt do one of his hook workouts, unknown to me that comet was coming by I guess. Something on my daughters barbie playhouse suddenly dropped on the floor behind me. I was wondering what fell so i got up to figure out what it was and pick it up. While looking on the floor I suddenly heard footsteps on my stairs. I side step and am looking at the stairs and there’s no one there. I see movement at the top and I pan up to see something. It looked like soft tv static, almost in the shape of a skinny frail person. It was facing my bedroom where my wife was sleeping, stopped and turned and saw me. No face, just an outline. I was so confused and shocked I didn’t know what to do and walked away asking for whatever it was to be cool out loud and saying f this I need a coffee. My wife had a miscarriage shortly after that, stating that she was seeing fairies shortly before the miscarriage, which coming from her was insane, given she doesn’t believe in anything. Before all of this I was heading out to the lake on what the weather report said was going to be 4 knot winds, a beautiful for most people. When I got to the launch it was more like 14 knot winds with white caps and I was barely able to launch my boat, having to wade out and jump on because the waves were crashing the hull up against the rocks. I was already there and wasn’t going to turn around after all the preparations because of a bad weather report. I gunned the engine and headed straight for Eagle Mountain having caught salmon there around one of the bends before and deep water pike. I hit 40 feet and dropped my dipsy divers as the storm grew and the skies blackened, constantly resetting the things from the crashing of the boat. Thirty minutes of brutal waters, no bites, and weary from the waves the storm broke as a massive flock of cormorants landed a few hundred meters away. I was just turning east of Eagle Mountain at it’s center when I heard something thrashing at the top of the water over my right shoulder about 60ft away. I look over to see something ink black shaking something at the surface as a pitbull shakes a toy. It was large and the only noticeable feature was what looked like a massive adipose fin, but no dorsal fin could be seen. I turned hard revved for a few seconds and pulled the emergency collar on the outboard to coast in on the almost glass like water, where only moments before white caps were crashing. Pollen from the trees coated the top of the water yellow, making it impossible to see anything. Nothing stirred and i took the biggest jig I had and started ripping, hoping to catch whatever I’d just seen. The fish finder was a blanket of yellow for the first 35ft towards the top of the water. I was just over a massive bait ball, and whatever I had just seen was feasting. I reeled in all the like and threw down a small grub jig to find out it was hundreds of thousands of yellow perch. After a several more minutes of jigging I figured I must have spooked it and moved on. 2 years ago we were driving home from the city Christmas fireworks show on an unusually warm winter night. The downtown only being minutes away made for a short trip and I wasn’t expecting to see anything like what I saw in the ditch at the Firster Mormon compound just a quarter mile from my house. We took a left onto our road and were passing the hay field that the local farm lord contracted out when something in the ditch caught my eye. There standing in the ditch were a pair of legs that had wispy blonde fur, the same color as the dead cattails it was standing next to. They were muscled like an elk, but only two of them. I hit the brakes hard and yelled at my wife and daughter to look pointing towards what I was seeing. Both of them being unable to see it in time. I wanted to stop but the wife said no and I said I’d come back in the morning and look for tracks. Sadly it was so unusually warm the snow was severely melted distorting everything. Beyond that our downtown is a blackhole communications area. I’ve only seen it one other time in Iraq. If you get anywhere near the downtown the cellular service stops working. Even my brother in law who used to work for Verizon here confirmed it, and that they don’t know what’s causing it since there is 5 bars of service there, but no service besides calls, data is so poor it always stops downloading. I am an old man now and didn’t believe in any of this until I moved here. I found out belief matters little to reality.

@@Bambookie28 ….Pirates mostly target companies that can afford large ransoms. The rogue wave is a fair bet. The condition of the sail looks like it could well have been damaged when the boat was toppled over. The boat would have righted itself but not before the men were in the water. The only thing that lets this theory down is everything in the cabins would have been all over the place and anything on deck not tied down would have been lost….and this wasn’t the case. My own personal theory - they were businessmen, I don’t mean to traduce them but they could have been transporting drugs. I believe whoever they passed the drugs on to out at sea threw them in the water…..And then used their bodies as target practice to ensure they would have been eaten by sea creatures.

I'm an experienced boatsperson paramedic with common sence. Safety both on shore and out at sea is always a factor. I'm not buying the Toronto police departments idea. Not for a second. One of them must've had some common sence throwing a flotation device. All those bumpers hanging around the vessel including the emergency man overboard orange rings most likely on the port and starboard side were all intact. An alien abduction is possible including sea pirates! A squid? Nope! Someone would've called mayday on the radio... Radio communication if a alien abduction will not operate. Come on folks. In the early 2000's I lived on 5 acres up against the National Forest here. One night my dogs went crazy sniffing at the door and growling. I grabbed one of those flood lights, 1 million candle watt, and aimed it to the back acres. What I smelled was worst than a skunk, it smelled like sewage and body odor mixed. I had never head of Bigfoot at this time as I just paid no mind to that type of stories. I saw an 8 foot tall gorilla but it did have more human like facial features to me. It had a bare chest, hands facing backwards, domed head. It was trying to pry open the lid to your septic tank and broke off the welded rebar handle. It stood up and just fit under a branch on a tree. I knew it was 8 feet tall as that branch we measured to put up a swing for my daughter. After some research I learned of Bigfoot and there is no doubt that is what I saw. It was a clear night 1 am, full moon, neighbor had a flood light on in his backyard and I had a flood light. I do not believe Bigfoot is an alien, human hybrid etc.. I believe we have a North American Great Ape. Do nor forget Silver Back gorillas were myths until the 1960's!

Those three were a classic case of losing their balance with those shapes. If any of them were to try and touch their toes would fall over. Out in the ocean you have to have really good balance and be in good shape. One probably got into trouble falling into the ocean and that cascaded in a nightmare as the other two would end up the same in the ocean and the vessel would just sail off without them. Bad candidates for that adventure(imho)...

Frederick Valentich is obviously to complicated a name for Americans to grasp. It's not Valentine as William Shatner-Purse says nor Valenich as David Paulides says. What's wrong when Americans can't pronounce a simple name correctly ?

They way William sat down in that chair, and that little sigh….is exactly how I sound when I flop down. It’s a bit early, but I might just wine and dine myself, flip down, sigh. Turn on my program and fall asleep 😂

If the Philadelphia Experiment happened Oct 28, 1943. How could Tesla be involved when he died Jan 7, 1943?

This phenomenon is not unusual nor is "new" news. Dave Paulides, Missing 411, has a large amount of research regarding missing people across the north American continent.

A trained police swimmer (wtf does that mean?) will attempt to catch a tiny inflatable dinghy in a pool, to gain info about catching a 30 ft boat in the ocean…ya, I’m outta year William, let me know how that goes…

They would have to be idiots if one fell and the other two jumped in to help him without using any of the equipment that they have. I don't know how smart they were, but you'd think if one fell in they would throw him the ring and pull him back, not jump in like idiots and so all of them drowned. But it makes for a good story if you're stupid enough to believe it.

I found Shatner's attitude inappropriate and disrespectful to the deceased and their families - apparently I am alone in my thinking.

Lookup the TV series Space1999. Some of the stories remind me of that TV show.
