What a performance! Who ever decided on smaller venues for INXS really did no justice. It feels as though Michael had no room for full expression of his craft...many times I felt like he was in a cage. I have yet to see another band that rises to the occasion quite like INXS. True ARTISTS.

The chemistry those six lads shared created pure excitement in the studio and on stage. Their live performances are now legendary. Many say that they wish they had seen inxs live - I just shake my head.

It’s ironic that Michael & the band were not happy that management had made an executive decision to film the Wembley 1991 INXS concert with the best equipment available at the time, which had a high cost that would dig into what they made for that show. But it was the best decision because this show was awesome, and at the height of their career & they were able to digitally recreate the film into 4K content today. So wonderful that we have this keepsake without being blurry!

Looking back , MH lived a very FULL life.... How many men can say by age 37, they had, written poetry, was a song writer, sexiest man ever, was in a rock/pop band front man, was in a movie , sex symbol, dated super models, and anyone that he wanted anytime , had a home in France ,had a motor cycle, had nice cars, drugs sex and rock in roll , was able to see how it was to have a daughter and experienced her birth, I am glad he had all of that... No one will ever really know what happened that morning whether a sex act gone wrong or depression from all of the pressures of his fast paced life, but Michael definitely experienced more in his 37 years than 20 people could in a long life time. Rest in peace Michael Hutchence no matter what you were amazing in every way !!!!

For real. I genuinely believe that we leave this earth when we have done our dreams. I wish I coulda experienced his work as a mature adult, but damn, did I ever have a good run of it in my 20's. My favorite band.

- Tim was the big brother of the entire band (Even though Garry was actually the oldest) and at least in the beginning he was potentially the de facto leader - Andrew was the creative force behind the band - Jon became such a force in the band especially when he started writing but before that he was and is an excellent drummer and is very thoughtful when he plays

I can relate to the glasses/vision thing too: when I first got mine I saw the individual oranges on the trees while driving on a highway thru a grove: individual oranges and leaves from relatively far away! I was giddy! I recall the ophthalmologist telling me "you're going to see things you never knew existed!"---twas true.

@Netto shopper yeah a lot of the most successful and just best Australian artists aren’t actually Australian so at least INXS are truly Australian (not that it matters all these people to some degree consider themselves Australian) - John Farnham is English - Olivia Newton John was English - Jimmy Barnes is Scottish - Swannee is Scottish - AC/DC are basically British (English and Scottish) - Neil Finn as a member of an Australian band is from New Zealand - Jon Stevens as a member of an Australian band is from New Zealand - Colin Hay is Scottish - John Paul Young is Scottish And there’s plenty more probably
