The Iodine interacts with the different structures of the Polysaccharide to create a colour change.
Starch + Iodine = Blue-Black colour
Glycogen + Iodine = Brown-Red colour
Negative Control = Distilled Water
Positive Control = 1 % (w/v) Glycogen
Positive Control = 1 % (w/v) Starch
