Great info! I see that your chart starting around 8:39 has the Emotiva XPA-7 Gen3 at 7x120w a channel. But your second chart, their website and my owners manual says at 8 ohms all channels driven the power is 200 watts. Am I missing something?

Around 4:44 is the 7 x 120 watt rating for the XPA-7 Gen3. 8:39 seems to be the right rating of 7 x 200 w

Both you and @Happy Fisch have great eyes! Yes, you are correct, the Emotiva XPA-7 Gen3 is 7x200W all channels driven into 8 ohm. I need to be more careful to inspect after I copy/paste and move/change things around. I did catch a few on my own before posting, but this one escaped me. I will edit the description to alert viewers to the error. Thanks so much.-Jon

I have yet to review amplifiers (aside from those I use as part of my system). I need to work out a test process and have good test equipment to do those reviews justice. -Jon

The price for the iotavx is in British pounds I think, substantially more than the rest of amps you have there I believe

Is ToneWinner the same as WhiteVan? It sure sounds like it.

The name, ToneWinner, sounds too forced. If you have to go through such an effort to attach quality to your brand it sound like you are hiding something. Remember when LG was GoldStar? It wasn’t known for the quality associated with LG today.

@@ripewave LG was actually “Lucky Goldstar”. I repaired one of their tv’s back around 1990 or so. It was a surprising exercise in seeing just how short a wire could be and still stretch between two circuit boards. The assembly was so sloppy it looked like rats were living in there. I still can’t look at an “LG” to this day without thinking of that.
