@@aymenlouhibi5775 I don't think it is. In fact I think the only one who mention "chnese kung fu" are the japanese. And that's because they wish to prove their martial arts are superior, and by extension they are superior... because that's where nationalism takes you to. And patriotism or nationalism are the flipsides of the same coin - taking pride from happenstance of birth, elevating flags and hymns over living, breathing people. It's good for people who have no achievements or skills to be proud of and all that's left is to be prout of being white, or being raised in certain religion or nationality... thing you do not really earn. Yeah, fighting became more and more unreasonable as the series went forward. They completely went overboard. The first part of the first movie is a bit goofy and looks like a classic "I challange you!" kung-fu movie but this second part with the Japanese invaders is deep and fighting here really had its meaning and reason behind it. The second movie had its moments (although it was a blatant Rocky 2-3-4 copy) and the coreo in the 3rd movie was astonishing. But the 4th was shallow, even Donnie Yen looked bored of it and it is a shame that Adkins' talent was wasted on that movie. One dimensional, boring, predictable.

when he was talking to the guy through the bars, he was asking "why did they shoot him?" and when he was talking softy, he was asking "did they beat Li to death?", reffering to the guy earlier who was brutally beat by General Muira, and then probably beat to death by some japanese soldiers
@hidan407

He was brutally beat because after the match, he kept pushing his luck and trying to attack the general. The general kept showing mercy until he got spat in the face and he finally said fuck it and punched him with a attack that was lethal. Lin brought it on himself

It's nice how they come 1 to 2 at a time in the movies. As a person who has been jumped twice by groups of 8 or more people i can tell you that you can't block 8 dudes when they all rush you and hit you from every angel. 8 dudes is 16 arms. Just think about it. That best thing you can do is run or find a weapon to even the score.

@@mehmeh7052 Modern Japan has become a degenerated society when anime was introduced in 1991. The Japanese empire from 1930 until the end of ww2 was very atrocious and barbaric, as the emperor just became a puppet for the military which committed the most heinous crimes known to man. The period of Japanese history from 1970 -1991 was the greatest, as the Japanese economy outshined the rest of the world
