I wanted to prove something to myself, so I once ran a relatively unscientific test to measure the power difference when 'closing' applications. I used my iPhone 13 mini as I normally would for 6 months (my life and therefore usage are both pretty consistent) and never 'closed' anything to establish a general baseline (which was also quite consistent). I then tried another 6 months 'closing' everything the second I was finished with it every single time. I consistently ended the day with roughly 5-8% more charge, which while not a lot, was both very reliable and obvious; something I found rather interesting. Also, this spanned iOS 15.4-15.7, so there were no major software changes to affect anything.

Which charger I should use for my Iphone 15? Can I use my daughter MacBook charger? 1. I have really nice 5G in my area (500k city) so for now I am using it now. 2. I use dark mode except one app which I hate using in dark mode so I have automation for switching it. It works really nice. 3. For most of apps I disabled notifications. 4. I use low power mode when my baterry is below 40%. My choice :) 5. Every time I watch video about battery tips then I review all my apps (notifications, location, background)

Fantastic format on your delivery; showing where you are clicking, swiping, and scrolling instead just "go here and go there" without showing where. And the clarity of your voice . . . . not too fast, not too slow, but just right. I don't suppose you're related to Goldilocks ;-) The other comment: I don't suppose you have a video on how to use Safari on iPhone 15. I expect that there is a number of viewers who would appreciate seeing your presentation on that; especially if you used the same format as you used in this video. Could not find my old reliable ones, so I dug I little bit and got to this one. The fact you put a timer on the features got me hooked, this way I knew how long you were going to discuss about each topic, I could keep up with it, pause and so on. I got my phone on Sunday and noticed when they transferred the data on the store, it didn't keep all the settings I had, thought I'd done this before on the 13, email refresh was now on and other things "that magically got turned back on for some reason", but I had no idea about all these new features the 15 had, plus all the stuff you forget (there's so much to adjust in IOS world to save battery life). Anyway, I am testing this out and let's see how it works, thanks so much!

Is the remaining battery percentage relative to which apps you have open and how you are currently using the iPhone? Sometimes I find the first 25-50% of the battery drains really quick but then the second half drains slowly. Sometimes I plug my iPhone to charge and it will charge to 100% really quickly, but other times really slow from the same capacity. The overall battery drain is inconsistent and my battery health shows as 100%.
@nasseralsharif

How you use your iPhone, and how much is the temperature (using a phone case while charging or not) are you using genuine Apple chargers? also every battery is manufactured differently… All these play a role in your battery health and charging. Overall, iOS software is very efficient to manage which apps are necessary and which aren’t, so they are shut off. Just keep away your iPhone from high temperature, heat is actually a nightmare for lithium ion batteries.

Regarding the new iPhone 15 feature in the battery settings about the 80% Limit while charging, works according to Apple like this: The charging-Limiter feature works for 7 out of 10 charges. If one of these 7 times, it charges up to 80%, stops charging, only to drop down to 75%. Resumes charging again up to the 80%, You catch my drift. It works like that, literally for days, weeks, until You unplug Your device. Apple writes on their Website: With 80% Limit enabled, your iPhone will occasionally charge to 100 percent to maintain accurate battery state-of-charge estimates. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

AWESOME video, very interesting 👏 👏 👏 What I’ve learned about "Lithium-Ion" batteries, in the last decade is the following: "Lithium-Ion" DOESN‘T LIKE EXTREMES LIKE, cold or heat and using the battery all the way down to 0% also the other way around, charging it up until 100%. In addition to the new 15 Pro Max, I also own a 11 Pro Max as well as a 12 Pro Max. While the battery health of the 12 Pro Max has declined over the years within the usual framework and now at 88%, the battery health on the 11 Pro Max (which is 1 year older) on the other hand, is STILL INCREDIBLE HIGH WITH 99%. What You‘ve said about the battery health percentages not being 100% accurate is correct. The 2 Shortcuts described below, ARE FOR EACH & EVERY IPHONE AS WELL AS ALL IPADS (I don‘t know if these 2 Shortcuts work below ios 15 as well) There is a certain Shortcut CALLED "PowerUtil" among other things shows 1. the cycle count (5 cycles) Average Tempatature in 19°C 3. Maximum Battery Capacity Percentages 100% (Battery Health) and LAST BUT NOT LEAST: "PowerUtil Calculated Battery Health" and my 3 weeks old 15 Pro Max with 5 Cycles shows here NOT 100% but 97.94 % The 2nd. Shortcut called "Battery Stats" specifies the following: Your iPhone battery's real stats: MaximumFCC (original maximum capacity): 4570 mAh NominalChargeCapacity (current maximum capacity: 4481 mAh CycleCount (number of complete charge cycles): 5 cycles These figures confirm EXACTLY what I recently read about the in iPhones & iPads installed Lithium-Ion batteries, which ALLEGEDLY ALL HAVE DIFFERENT Numbers regarding the mAh. And if these numbers fall below the official numbers, the initial 100% of battery health begin to drop. For example: Officially the iPhone 15 Pro Max contains 4422 mAh but is delivered with a little more mAh from the factory like 4570 mAh But now with every new charging cycle, these numbers sinks, however they are shown with 100% battery health, up to the point where these numbers drop under the OFFICIAL 4422 mAh and the once 100% are suddenly just 99% than 98% You catch my drift. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

Needs more detailed explaination on Auto-brightness. 5:43 Would it drain more battery if you enable auto-brightness while you’re inside a dark room or inserting phone to a dark pocket, and where the brightness will automatically adjust to high amount?
@tahmidabdin4625
4 ай бұрын
No Auto brightness saves battery life Even apple says to leave it on Turning off auto brightness may affect battery life and long term display according to apple It’s headache doing manual brightness and suddenly you have forgot to put your brightness down High brightness drains battery life faster
@skyzane2735
4 ай бұрын
@@tahmidabdin4625 That statement doesn’t answer my question. Maybe there is confusion. In 5:23 somewhere mentioned that high brightness also drains more battery. So if we put it at auto, and then place the phone somewhere dark or inside a pocket, then the auto-brightness will adjust to highest brightness, draining more battery? So if staying indoors, why not just put it manual and always in low brightness? Since auto-brightness will adjust to highest brightness in dim indoor which causes the battery to drain more.

@@JuiicyDrew the reason why he's promoting the Amazon one is because he gets paid if you purchase. Most internet providers have their own routers and you can't attach another router because it won't work. In theory you can add another router for wifi only by now you would have two modem giving IP Address. That will just make your speed slower. Most internet providers have amazing routers with latest wifi tech. If you have issue with signals then consider adding a mesh technology system. Also, make sure the internet provider is already giving you fast speed. If you have slow speed from provider, no router will fix that. I was a tech for 6 years at AT&T
