Dude at the apple store was beyond surprised that I wanted to go from a pro max to the new SE lol. The entire time I had the max phone I upgraded to I was just thinking “I miss my iphone 8” so with this release I decided it was time to go back to what I missed. People look at me like I’m crazy for preferring this over the newer stuff but I’m just extremely grateful this design is still an option.

You are probably the most thorough tech reviewer when it comes to the SE 2022. It’s appreciated by people like me that actually want to know if this phone is worth the value. And it appears that it is and then some. What I like is you didn’t do like most reviewers and use it two days, trash it and then move on. You used it consistently and keep giving us updates on it. Kudos for doing such a great job on this phone and being detailed.

I love this SE so much, Ive been using iPhone 6 for more than 4 years but now apple stops support iOS updates for it, the fact that this new SE is exactly the same size as my iPhone 6 but got the newest chip is a perfect choice for me it definitely will receive iOS updates for years to come, and the price tag is so affordable! This probably will last me for a very long time cuz I just a functional smartphone, not familiar with android so this phone is the best option for me right now cuz I don't trust buying used iPhone, simply perfect!

Gonna order it in the coming weeks. Will be my first iphone ever (I'm 30), just got bored of android and the pricetag this time was convincing enough to make the switch. Having a physical button to unlock the phone is so so convinient, people get lost jazzy features like faceunlock and indisplay fingerprint we have for lot of budget andiod phones r but none of then comapares to physical touch button like miles away. Also look at 5G band coverage its covers almost most of the world bands. Like an IT professional like me who travel a lot i want smartphone which take on any band 4g 4glte 5g..anything..bye the way donyour research many andriod phine supports bands specific to 1 or max 2 countries that where they save cost. Took the plunge on SE 2022. I was looking for an iPhone to replace my Pixel 4a. The only one that could fit my budget and still have a long enough iOS life would've been a 64GB iPhone 11. 64 GB is too small plus I am trying to avoid having anything bigger than my Pixel 4a. The screen isn't as good as the Mini, but a new Mini is too pricey. So bit the bullet & got the 128GB SE. We'll see how this works out.

I say all that to agree that I’m sure it’s a terrific phone but also think it’s probably more then enough phone for most people-most smart phone users don’t need 1200 dollar phones. Thinking of owning it sooner as I had no prior iphone experience. Should I go for iphone SE 2 or SE 3? Keeping the price in mind as SE 3 is overpriced I feel?
@TechOdyssey

The battery life and phone signal are better on the SE3. The 2020 may work fine in your area but I don't know how you networks are, if 2G/3G are still working, etc... But largely the experience is mostly the same.

My 7 died the other day so I’m using my wife’s old 6 and it doesn’t support some of the apps I was using. I was about to jump in both feet with the Max or Pro but now this has me questioning things.

An interesting video thank you. Like yourself I have the 13 pro , a great phone but for my small hands it’s just on the boundary of being just a little too big while at the same time being a tad bit heavy, in the hands, when watching KZitem videos for long periods of time. The battery life more than makes up for the size. With that being Said I’ve been very keen on the the likes of the iPhone 13 mini and the se 2022, but always shying away from them due to the “small” battery size and the concern when using my phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot the battery depleting before your very eyes. I don’t use my phone for games and I never have done for me as I’ve mentioned already, videos, looking at news stories, phone calls and email’s. Watching your video has given me hope of enjoying this small compact phone but I’m just fearful of regretting it when using it as a Wi-Fi hotspot. I will probably just remain on the fence for now. On a side note does but related to this phone. Does apple still make the battery case for this phone or am I just dreaming ?
@lilPopper

You can probably use a battery case for the iPhone 8, since the physical dimensions are exactly the same. But the take away is you would be blocking the phone's wireless charging pad in the back

How do you guys deal with the Iphone's battery capacity? I've been a long time user of Android and what keeps me from switching to IPhone is the battery. With my Samsung, i get 8hrs SOT yet my battery is still at 80%. I'm not a gamer but im heavy on KZitem, Netflix, Social Media. Even though I love the small form factor of this SE3, I'm still hesitant to get one.

Battery life on the S22 isn’t great but all around technically the S22 is better. Cameras, screen size, refresh rate, etc…. They’re really in two different classes. But, the heart wants what it wants. Sounds like you really want or try to the iPhone. It’s a great phone. If you want it go for it. Return it if it doesn’t make you happy. Easy peasy.
