Hey Matt, great lap guide again. Getting better by the week. I was just wondering how you managed to apply 100% brake pressure towards the final chicane without locking up the tires? I thought they locked up around 80%?

use the compression, there's a dip on the right side if you notice closely you can see the white line bent a little bit where i usually start braking and you can brake very hard for it. even 100% peak, but be very careful when you try that cause you gotta peel off in time or else once the road flat out you will lock up and send yourself to the gravel.

Is there any suggestion for heating tyre at before starting Q-Lap? As how much cantigrade degree should tyres be ?

I look at the tyre pressures on the dash as a reference, usually you want them to be around 170 for your laps. You can increase the pressures quickly by scrubbing from left to right on your out lap.

How do you know when yo shortshift?
@CoachDaveAcademy

Generally you'll want to do it to maximise traction and to nullify wheelspin. So when you want to dull the torque of the engine to not engage any wheelspin you'll want to shortshift
