@@ShredCo I disagree. The team with the most foreign born players are the All Blacks and I don’t think their recruitment from the Pacifica community - I live in NZ - has ever cheapened their winning record. It is what it is. The Irish provincial teams are astute recruiters and Bundee Akee has really developed into the player he is while playing, for quite a number of years now, in Ireland. Blame the IRB, they make the rules. If Ireland are smart enough to find and nurture world class talent, more power to them and to the players.

Each is very different and they are fiercely proud of the individual cultures. That’s why no one’s ever been able to get a Pacifica team up and running at international level. Wales, Scotland, Japan, France and England all have Pacific Islanders on their team - I think even Romania does. Is what it is and thems the rules.

Most teams in the world have foreign players. Bundi has been in Ireland 9 years, 9 years of Irish training camps and conditioning. Who feeds Bundi the ball? Every player on the field is just as important. Bundi is a great athlete and we are lucky to have him. What makes a team a great team isn’t just getting a few foreign players and throwing them in. He fits in, they all do. It’s almost like they are where they are supposed to be. James lowe said himself he was never an option for the AB. That’s why he looked abroad. They all work together so well and are a team. We are grateful , and we can only hope. Nervous but looking forward to the game.
