I will try and film more performances over the next year or so. Sometimes there are copyright issues though. Thanks for your comment.

Do the bands not have drum majors ? I mean Isn’t the man leading the band the director ?
@jamie8032

In British style militaries like the Canadians, Australians or New Zealand military bands yes there are drum majors but the Defense Forces intentionally try and take their military structure/traditions from the U.S military.

@Jamie Well military bands in US military did have Drum Majors which this position were usually held by NCOs

Im pretty sure its by Colonel Fritz ("Fitz") Brase, am german bandleader who shaped irish military music after WW1. He often used tunes of irish folk music for his marches, sadly I dont know the marches name, sure sounds like him though.

Evan O'Herlihy the first march is Wellington by Wilhelm Zehle, a very popular tune in the British army, as for the second one I’m not sure

Not bad, though they need to seriously pick some percussion instruments with less decay, it bleeds all over the rest of the instruments.

I'm always afraid of the Army when they're marching like that. I could see the soldiers in the shop and it doesn't bother me but marching like that or Driving them big things freaks me out 🙄😏
@karlmartin2698

Don't worry Carol the drivers are all very well trained and tested. And the marching soldiers leave all the bullets back at base so there won't be any accidents!
