What's up Ernesto? I have to say your living room lighting setup is legit. It almost looks like a green screen . I thought I was one of the few people who appreciated manual lenses on modern cameras. Your images and this video is really better for them than a paid advertisement. You're slowly becoming the Nipsey Hussle of photography LOL

Ernesto, I love your shooting style, your speaking style, etc. I especially love your color tones with brown skin. I assume they are not like these straight out of camera. How do you achieve such exquisit brown skin tones? Anything special like presets, a sample patch with your favorite skin tones you can use to shift them with, etc?

Nice video! Beautiful and sharp images! definitely a lens that people should consider. It is not usual to use a macro lens for Portrait photography. I would like to watch also some reviews in this type of lenses that not many people know about, such as the new Irix 45mm f/1.4 dragonfly or the Laowa 105mm f/2. STF (smooth trans focus).

I wouldn't say that If we speak about regular portrait photography or anything else which requires telephoto lens. Even the Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM costs x1,4 more (in my country). Sure, you get +50mm focal length and auto focus, but if you want to use manual any time then I assume this one is far more precise and I have a feeling that the image quality is minimum equal if not better than the Canon. Sadly not a single comparsion video exists about these 2 lenses. Maybe macro wise it can be tough to sell since the Venus Optics Laowa 100mm f/2.8 Ultra Macro APO shares the same price (in my country), which is a far better choice for every kind of macro photography. I would say this Irix MIGHT BE a good all rounder, if you want to use 1 single lens with a longer focal length to cover a lot of macro or non-macro applications.
