Iron is a very important element for our health & well-being.
We take iron from food, and one of the most important foods that contain iron is red meat.
While vegetables contain iron, it is not in the same amount and with the same ease for the body to absorb.
Iron can be stored in the liver, and bone marrow for up to 3 months, and we might not even know we are iron deficient, hence why it is recommended to have blood tests when you are feeling unwell and constantly tired.
