I love Ironside. I watch him every weekday. Two wonderful shows a day. I’ve seen some of the ones shown. Burr was such a good actor.

When the series finally appeared in syndicated repeats in 1974, it was titled "THE RAYMOND BURR SHOW", as first-run episodes of "IRONSIDE" were still scheduled on NBC (when the series was cancelled in January 1975, the original title was eventually restored).

One TV station had it on so often between 1974 and 1983, and again in the early 1990s was WOR-TV 9, New York (later Secaucus, NJ) (later WWOR). Apparently they were sold on the show.

It was great seeing the evolution of Mark Sanger. From angry young man, to law student who passed the Bar to keep working for Ironside and learning from the best how to investigate. When the show ended I was in high school but never saw the earlier shows in the 60’s as I wasn’t allowed much TV. And I’m starting to watch Burr as Perry Mason.

I think in the show he ended up joining the force as well in the later Ironside movie Mark became a judge

@@mikepignatelli273 I saw when he became an officer. That’s great he became a judge. Ed Brown was my favorite character in the show. Never saw the Ironside movie. What a shame they’re all passed on except the lady who played Eve Whitfield. I watch two Ironsides every weekday. I get cranky when I miss an episode. And have watched a few Perry Masons.

The best cop that Th SFPD ever had..that is how..I would described "Police Chief Bob Ironside".."Detective Sgt.Ed Brown".
