My dad did all the electrical work back in the 1980's for Bob Wilson. Beautiful truck.

I remember back in the mid 80s i had subscription to a magazine called American trucker. This truck was in the cover page of my December 1986 edition if I'm not mistaken. I remember the title said ironsides Chrome Christmas tree because of all the lights and chrome the truck had. Wow! I hadn't seen that truck since then. It sure brings back memories!

This Legend was even in a dutch truckers magazine in very late 80’s/early 90’s. In a article about an american truckshow where they did a hp-competition on a dyno. Ironsides vs Papa Clyde.

I worked on Bob Wilson's show trucks in the 80's.... Bob was a great guy. Ironsides looked a lot better back then.

I saw iron sides at dyno days at Hawethorn Cat (San Diego Ca) Bob turned the engine to 3000 rpm + it sounded like a 53 series Detroit ,turbo cavitatied & spun turbo compressor wheel nut loose, it was a show.
