On the minute 29, the test, it is not the lights a vessel at anchor over 50m, from a PORT aspect, it is from a STBD (starboard) aspect

The only problem madam, is that when a vessel is pushing (not a composite unit situation) more than one vessel, or towing alongside more than one vessel, they don't show the navigation lights each one alone. If they're three vessels towed alongside, then they all show the side lights of one vessel and only one stern light. If you are pushing 3 vessels, the three show the side lights of one vessel on the extremities of the tow.

Shouldn’t number 4 on the test have a red sidelight because we are looking at the port aspect?

Quiz at 28:20 ... Question 10.... doesn't a vessel at anchor >50m have a lower light at the stern so this would be the starboard aspect? Or am I still confused?

Hi Kath. Thanks for your amazing videos. So structured and clear. Well done. May I ask about the significance of the difference making way and under way respectively Nav Lights On or not (slide on minute 6:00): Why does the ColRegs differ here? Maybe I am just annouyed atm by learning this. But there must be any kind of importance about this difference I havent figured out yet. Thanks.

You are underway when you are no longer fast to the shore, at anchor or aground. You are making way when you are being propelled by your main machinery.
