the body deals with any alcohol first before any food - thats why you can't lose weight as a problem drinker.

Every since I quit drinking I lost 40 lbs. I would burn 500 calories at the gym then come home and drink and eat 1000. Defeating the damn purpose 😂😂😂😂😂

Hangover binge eating. I could eat for 6 on those days

I noticed I stopped eating takeaways since I quit which surprised me. I actually like cooking now. But had a lot of sugar cravings to start with. I'll have to do exercise, even though its freezing 🥶 Thanks for the videos.

You didn’t mention that the calories eaten while drinking are mostly stored as fat because the body is focusing it’s resources on the alcohol

Beer has calories, so yes. It makes you fat if wou drink to a caloric proficit. Worse thing is you're still hungry..and add the eating calories then your good to go to get fat.

OK, these are some good reminders, there’s no question that increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to kick the habit, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days without withdrawal.

Awesome Im in a similar boat and have been alcohol free 24 days. How long did it take to lose the 40, like month by month. Congrats over the success!!!
