This is the conclusion that everyone who grinds games competitively eventually comes to.

@@aaronbong I had the same. It's a good experience to go through, and you learn a lot about yourself doing it, but I'm glad I quit.

Tbh I think it's fine to give up on something as long as you gave it your all and came to the conclusion that you want to move on to something else. There's no need to dedicate your entire life to a single purpose, as long as you don't completely give up on trying in the first place. You can have a pretty fulfilling life building up experience in various things as long as you're putting in serious effort. If you don't then your entire life will just feel like a blur, and you won't have any good memories to look back on.

You need to combine having fun and grinding, if ur playing for fun ur gonna be bad at the game and if ur playing for grind ur gonna get bored after a while. you need to balance it and you will go pro :)

Not gonna lie bro, kind of knew this wouldn’t be your end path. I respect the fact that you tried it out but you have to understand a lot of these pros didn’t have aspiring dreams to become pro at first. They played the game by pure love for it and got really good at it to where it turned into one. I simply don’t believe someone can just say they want to become a pro gamer and just become one. I honestly think some people were god given the talent to naturally become famous or pro which I don’t think 99.9999999% of regular people can do. Maybe if your goal was to become a doctor or a lawyer you can simply just do it but with things like professional gaming, pro athletes, that is just a 0.01% god given talent that no effort in the world can match.

Yes and although I did quit, it shouldn't mean that it's impossible to reach, as you said, it's about playing the game out of pure love. Sadly, I wasn't. But, if someone were to play in hopes of becoming a pro AND still really love the game, I believe that they can reach it with enough effort even if they don't have "talent". Hard work beats talent every time.
