Makes sense. Even though some are saying to avoid China, make everything in the USA and so on, it's impossible. The US or Europe has closed their factories for so long, there are no more people and resources to be able to make anything anymore.

Some comment that all $$$ goes to China has to think twice. For each $1 US consumer pays, how much goes to China? $0.05? And how much China has to pay to low end suppliers like Vietnam…? The bulk of the money goes to the US importers and tariff imposed by US gov.

The video makes a lot of sense. We no longer have qualified people to manufacture anything anymore, because we have been manufacturing it in China for a long time.

Basically this is a broad perspective. Things change from product to product. Living in India and being an entrepreneur I know we have clusters too and are cheaper in some products

I'm not very familiar with the Indian market, but I am wondering why India didn't grow to be the next world factory. I guess a lot maybe also has to do with infrastructure and logistics and other factors as well.

China: 24/7 power supply despite the recent disruptions; intensive logistic networks connecting warehouses, factory and ports, transporting not only goods but also migrant workers - all get built in very little time (looking at the TSLA Gigafactory Shanghai); a qualified labor pool consisting of _literate_ , skilled man and _women_ that are reasonably well-fed and motivated, capable of both manufacturing and management, of which the size is unmatched; plus (like it or not) the political stability, meaning there'd be no coups, regular social upheavals or _elections_ that will revert your investment in that industrial park back to stone age overnight; and the sheer size, meaning everything gets multiplied by the economies of scale.

In 70s and 80s, HK used to be able to provided many type of skillful labour force. UK used to be Great Britain and Industrial Empire in the same period.
