Where can you buy creeping thyme plants? Or do you have to buy seeds?

The Thyme Walk that Charles established at Highgrove decades ago is my favorite - when I think about bees, aesthetics, scent, heat, softness, wheeds, nature - thanks to Charles and thanks to his fellow gardeners - a real inspiration🪴

A Creeping Large Thyme has taken over a sizeable part of my lawn. I didn't plant it. Thyme certainly is invasive and has spread much faster than any weed I have ever seen. I tried to use a scarifier to remove it, but it was almost instantly clogged. I tried pulling the weed out with a four pronged rake but had no luck. The ground is covered the thyme's wooded vine that's impossible to remove by hand. I'm sorry I waited so long to deal with it. Lastly, I've cut the weed down to the lowest mower setting, and I am preparing to till the whole area (at least 1/8 of an acre), or burn it if necessary. Yes, it produces nice flowers in the summer, but in the winter all that is seen are its brown, woody stems. Smells are subjective, but I don't find its scent remotely pleasant. Every time I've had to mow over the area, it makes me sneeze.

As a ground cover , polinator , attracts bees - careful stepping on such insects especially kids and people with known allergies to insect bites!

How long is it in bloom? Creeping phlox has such a short bloom period.
