I’d say it’s harder to get big as just a streamer. Mainly just because twitches recommended system is terrible. If not non existent. Ya gotta have a mix.

@A7RA3L.Eh, KZitem has pretty interesting algorithm at times. As long as your video is interesting or align with someone else interest it could end up in someone's home page. I got recommended to videos with only 100-200 ish views ever since a month or two ago, they are mostly related to what I've been watching recently, though that makes me wonder did they change how algorithm works now since a year or two ago I never got videos or stream with below 1000 views, but nowadays it's pretty common occurence.

@A7RA3L. I think it's easier to grow on KZitem to be honest you just have to post quality content and follow the trend a little and be consistent . People are reaching 60 to 500 views every day plenty of of small youtube grow relatively quick.. I am discovering small KZitemrs everyday depending on the topic i search. i have been watching twitch recently and Twitch recommendation is really not good. On Twitch if you get 20- to 50 people watching constantly its actually really good because a lot streamers of cannot reach that. 100- 500 you are probably a small start on Twitch. Also, regarding the raiding concept I dont know if it's really effective.

I think it depends on content that you do. Best advice is do something that you enjoy watching and get inspiration on it. There os no need to get complicated about other stuff like editing, software etc. Just upload content that you are willing to share and you know everyone can enjoy. Treat it like something that you can share to a family member or friends. And if it goes viral, then you have idea and foundation to build up your channel. Regardless if you stream and posting yt videos.

It’s much harder being a KZitemr than a streamer from my experience. Streaming is fun and easy but building the audience is hard. KZitemr is a lot of work that streamers don’t face. Making videos that people won’t click off is tough. Learning the retention and the algorithm drives you insane

Depends entirely on the content. Some youtube channels makes insane contents that requires many hours or days just to produce. Production value in terms of recording a video, for me, is a lot harder than to sit on a stream and entertain your audience live, as you have feedbacks to rely on. But for youtube videos, you don't have that, you can only know if it's good or bad, after you finish producing, which could either be worth it, or perform very poorly. Yeah sure, you can take breaks, but that's only if you already have a very enstablished viewerbase, which will ultimately wait for your videos, as thay's normally how youtube ecosystem works. I get that it's also hard to maintain viewership as a streamer, let alone, raising it. But in term of production and all, being a youtuber will probably take more from you. Although, I highly doubt it's that much difference overall in general, because there's pros an cons for both, and it depends entirely on you for which you can manage better.

I really dislike that this is even a conversation and a distraction from young people having traditional career ambitions. I understand why it's a conversation, but for me, the majority of people who are successful Streamers and KZitemrs are talented enough to win auditions to work in TV or Film. They just choose to Stream or post to KZitem because they make more money that way of course. We have a society of young people who think almost any of them can be successful at streaming or post to KZitem and that is simply not the case.

streaming is way harder to get big in. youtube you can get lucky and have 1 video just pop tf off to start your career. streaming you don't just have 1 stream just pop off. as for the content aspect, youtube is way harder if you're doing it solo. all the editing and post-production stuff you need to do in order to make it appealing to the average viewer is much harder than hitting the go live button and just sending it.

Streaming is more more difficult in the sense that it requires more time commitment and consistency.. as well as being far more risky due to a lack of censorship and inevitable Freudian slips.. KZitem is more difficult in the sense that it truly is more technical and there’s a massive learning curve beyond captivating the audience with personality alone and the demands for the quality of the films are only rising as the platforms technology and techniques evolve. An insanely good editor is crème de la crème on KZitem, make or break.. and twitch doesn’t even involve that aspect… just equipment.. decor…. And vibe.. so I agree KZitem is more difficult to be successful due to an immensely greater learning curve.. but it’s also so much more rewarding… and far less likely to make the performer and audience mentally ill.
