I’ve bought 3 Epoch batteries within the last year. One 24V 100AH for my trolling motor and the 12V 50AH battery for my 3 depthfinders. I had to buy the 12V 100AH later as more often than not the 50AH battery would run out of juice just before I finished an 8 hour day in the water. So I ordered the 100AH battery and have plenty of power. Their customer service is outstanding. If for any reason they miss your call they will call you back. They want your business and put forth the effort to keep it. I love their batteries and recommend the to anyone interested in buying their batteries and chargers.

I just bought 2 of their starting batteries. 6hrs on the water, one battery at 97% and the other at 93%. Absolutely amazing! Never turned my radio or electronics off.

I have the Epoch 36v 100AH and 12v 100AH and could not be happier with the performance of the batteries. Great bluetooth app that tells you just about anything you want to know regarding the battery's condition and SOC. It was a tough pill to swallow price wise, but to me it's the buy once cry once mentality and you know you're covered by their 11 year warranty/A+ customer service.

I have been dealing with Kevin by email for a year to buy two 48v 100ah batteries plus charger to repower my little 18ft day cruiser from gasoline to electric. It took me six months to learn enough about lithium batteries, series vs parallel connection, BMS, safety, etc before I felt good about plunking down the bucks. I received the batteries about three months ago and am ready to install the batteries now, after first testing the charging process with full parallel connection. The app is great, allowing me to closely monitor everything. Kevin has patiently answered all my questions and made valuable suggestions, guiding me through this project.

I run 3 160ah Amped Outdoors LiFePO on my 36v Minn Kota Ulterra. I've never come anywhere close to running out of juice and couldn't be happier. The one trade off from SLA to LiFePO is the latter runs at a higher voltage. Minn Kota recommends not exceeding a speed of 8.5 on their current generation of trolling motors on lithiums. I have not been able to find if Minn Kota will make the same recommendation on their new line of Quest motors that haven't been released yet. With the new motors being brushless, thus running cooler than the previous brushed models, it may not be necessary to restrict speed on the new ones, but don't have any confirmation of that from MK.

Hey Dieter. If I tell you that you have nice calf muscles, will you tell me where you acquired your trailer tongue steps and was it a special deal. I haven't found, 'the rest of the story' where you obtained your steps. I bought a 1995 Starcraft Mariner 170 and want to outfit it with a set of steps. It is about the same height as your Lund as it is also a deep v. center console. Next I need to replace the fish finder/chart plotters as the old Hummingbird Wide Eyes are shot and dated. I will have to check and see if you have any suggestions or tips. I am in Alabama and the Gulf is about 3.5 hours away and I plan to take it close to shore and in the bays on occasion.

There is a guy at Great Outdoors in Cherryville NC that does them on the side and built these. If your not from that area, hit up Jason at Omega Boat Steps in Tennessee and tell him I sent you

You don't want lithium batteries on the water. If they short out, they'll freaking go up in flames so hot and fast, you'll think the sun went supernova.
@chachi5975

LiFePO4 batteries won't do that when exposed to water. That's a different chemistry that does that.
@tommckelvey3609

This is a misinformed opinion, especially in the case of Epoch batteries that are rated IP67 WATERPROOF. Furthermore the LiFePO4 battery chemistry used in these batteries is far safer than other chemistries that have a history of thermal runaway.
