In this video I'm going to attempt to answer to question: Is It Worth Tearing Down A Printer For The Parts? You'll see how I disassemble an old Epson printer for it's parts to be used in electronic projects and other items on the model railroad.
It took me over 2 hours to get the printer apart and seperate the good parts from the not so useful parts. There were much less useful parts that discard-able parts in this project.
This video was recorded in April 2018 and has been hiding in my computer ever since then. I rendered it and never uploaded it to KZitem. I changed the intro and ending in this video, but the middle remains the same. There was about a 30 minute section that I reduced to a few minutes where I was fighting the unforgiving frame of the printer.
