As a born and raised Canadian I would like to clear up these common misconceptions about us....we must do home chores as well. Our parents don't do everything. We also have to start work by latest age 16 but most start at age 14. Don't know many people in India that start working at those ages. I worked while in school and have now been part of the workforce for 21 years....I am not yet 40 LOL

IRCC is conducting category-based Express Entry draws based on 82 prioritized occupations and French language proficiency. If you work in a prioritized occupation, you qualify for category-based draws with lower CRS cutoffs. Project manager is not in the occupations list. For all-program Express Entry draws, the CRS cutoff is 500 or more. You can calculate your CRS score using CRS Tool and see if you are 500 or more. Alternatively, try PNP. Please review Ontario PNP (OINP); it can be tough due to many applicants and stringent employer requirement.

Getting Job ie part time job under student Visa is Impossible in Canada. For PR holder or citizen its easier but for student visa is very very difficult. Come to Canada Under Student VISA you must have sufficient money in your pocket for survive.

Desi parochialism & Desi politics & Desi jealousy- can never be far apart. It’s the hallmark of all Desis here. Insecurity of the mind begets all these problems. Each person for himself/ herself. To each his/ her own.

Some of these are why i prefer not to work with a company with lots of desi even though im pakistani. Lot of the desi are new to canada and in their pursuit to show "overefficiency" by doing too much extra work, the standards get raised far beyond what is possible at the office after bathroom, coffee, meetings, and lunch of a 40h work week. And yeah after a meeting there is a period of recharge that is needed to resume work again.
