The fact that the title says you have been using for 3 years says it all. Don’t even need to watch :)

This comment is for anyone thinking of buying a peloton right now. I just purchased my bike plus, I had a delivery date two days away from purchase. Also, I had a dedicated peloton team come to install the bike. I think it just depends on your location. Also, I got my bike plus on sale for 1795 Due to a Mother’s Day sale.

Listen spinning class in my neighbourhood is $250 to $300 a month for unlimited rides. Paying a little over $100 bucks a month is a bargen

Thanks for the review! I’ll probably be buying one for my wife and I’ll use your link, but the basic bike link you posted in the description isn’t working.

I just ordered mine as they have just been released in Australia. With the 3 year warranty, it was $4,500 and because they are so popular there is a 3-month wait. The monthly subscription is $59 here. Thanks for the excellent review.

Have to admit, the competitive part where you say you weren’t about to let the 10 clowns behind you pass you was gold. Said it with a straight face too 😂 🤡

Thank you for this great review... very well rounded from other reviews I’ve watched so far. Also I noticed several social justice groups you are a part of - thank you for being a part of those as well (coming from an Asian American). I live in Hawaii and am awaiting my bike+ delivery!!! Excited !

Great videoo - thanks..i've had my Bike + for 8 months and I love it too ! I stopped going to the gym for the reasons you said, dealing with traffic, weather, having to abide by the gym's class scheudle and dealing with people you don't want to deal with. :) One differnce though, I'm glad I got the Bike Plus for the Auto Resistance, bigger screen with a great sound bar and recommend it, if you can afford it. Thanks again for the video.

TIL "spin class" has to do with biking and nothing to do with pottery.

Thanks for the info. I’m curious if your parents are still using it. I’m 61 and can’t decide if it is something I will do for the next 5 years or more.

Not interested in Peloton, but enjoy your high-quality reviews. For me, a $300 Oculus Quest provides the same amount of gamified exercise at much lower cost. You can pick up "Thrill of the Fight" for $15, Synth Riders for $25, and Beat Saber for $35. All one-time fees and you can play endlessly at home or on the road. The Oculus Quest is also a lot more versatile, as you can use it for general media watching, other types of games like first-person shooters, 3D puzzles, and spending time with loved ones with a real sense of presence from anywhere in the world. Peloton sounds great for a certain subset of the population, and they've done a great job managing the UX, but I'd rather buy a normal used exercise bike for $200, load up a VR cycling game on Steam (streamed wirelessly to headset), and get all the same communal, gamified benefits and health tracking data for a low one-time fee.

@@camsecore With a fitness tracker like an Apple Watch (I use a $50 Honor Band 5), you can get surprisingly accurate info on heart rate and calories burned in VR. Actually, you don't need a fitness watch, as Oculus has their own built-in app that tracks fitness stats using headset sensors: www.oculus.com/blog/workout-of-the-week-1-full-body-workout/

You must be really moving to get the same amount of exercise on your Oculus. I've played with my son's Index and not get close to what I get on my Peloton. I tell you one thing, VR is a lot more enjoyable than riding the bike. My son does not like riding but needed to get exercise. The VR has come in handy to make exercise fun for him.

@@nofacemtb9481 That's where I'm at. I live next to a beautiful bay with a nice walking trail where I could walk or bike everyday. For some reason almost never use it. However you can find me inside the VR headset almost daily breaking a sweat.

@@camsecore I would exercise with my Oculus and the complex's Peloton for a great workout. One did great for arms, the other for legs. :)
