Prague is only cheaper to those capital cities located in the western europe… Literally any capital east from Prague is cheaper: Warsaw Budapest Bratislava Bucharest Sofia Belgrade Zagreb Lubljana Tirana Podgorica Sarajevo Etc. Prague us actually rather in the middle in terms of prices. Cheers.

You don't have to explain anything more about Eastern Europe, just "they don't like it" is all you need to know. 😀 And it's definitely not cheap anymore in Prague, prices of everything are like double of precovid prices. It's good that you have your jacket, because weather here is even more British than in Britain, you have 28°C and sun one day and 10°C and rain next day. 😀

The Czech Republic has, aside for many old buildings, a dense network of hiking trails that are easy to follow. Places like Bohemian Paradise or Adršpach rocks offer amazing rock cities and there's a castle on every hill. Southern Moravia has vineyards, wine cellars and châteaux and is great for biking. The Lipno reservoir is a good place to combine sailing/boating, biking and hiking. There are many more places than just Prague.

Just a little tip for you on your next visit to Prague. In this video when you mention Starbucks. That area is called Mala Strana. Cross over the street to the tram stop and take the number 22 or 23 tram. It will take you right up to the entrance to the Castle. The walk up to the Castle is long and tiring on a hot day. The walk down is a piece of cake with some nice views over the city. Also, all trams, buses and metro is free in Prague if you are over 65. Even if you are from outside the country. You might be asked to show proof, so you can show your drivers licence or passport or other government document. Enjoy your travels and stay safe.
