Seoul is probably the safest big city in the world. In fact, South Korea in general is as safe as a country can get. You can literally leave your phone and ipad at any cafe unattended for hours and they will still be there when u get back. You can throw your wallet on the street and leave. An hour or so later, you will either get a phonecall that someone found your wallet, or you will have it sent to you by mail. It doesnt get safer than that.

I'm Korean, so i can confirm. However, if you leave your phone or ipad unattended for HOURS at a table in a cafe, it might be missing when you come back. This is because the employees at the cafe might have to clear the table so that other customers can use that table. Don't worry. They will safely store your belongings. Just ask the employee for your stuff.

If you come to Seoul, Korea, you will be able to enjoy another much more beautiful night view right in front of your eyes than the usual view of Namsan and Lotte Tower. In particular, if you go up to Baebongsan Mountain and Geumho Mountain in Hawangsimni-dong, Geumho-dong, just a few kilometers between Cheonggyecheon Stream and Seoul Forest Park, you can enjoy badminton (get off at Cheonggu Station or take a taxi) and there are many beautiful and delicious foods. Also, if you walk slowly for about two hours from the place called Dulle-gil starting from Maebongsan Mountain in Geumho Mountain, you can reach Namsan Mountain This place is very close to Gwangjang Market Jungang Market. It is close to Seongsu Bridge, Hannam Bridge and Dongho Bridge on the Han River. Therefore, it is very close to Apgujeong Station on Gangnam Station. I hope you have a wonderful and beautiful trip to Seoul blog.naver.com/koam0816/221325946668

@@marting3207 No. I was literally born and partially raised in Korea. I know we might do something like this because I used to work at Cafe Bene in Daegu, South Korea. I remember once somebody accidentally left their cell phone on one of our cafe table, and there were many customers. My supervisor asked me if I saw someone who used that phone. Because we didn't know, we waited for some time, but eventually, we moved the cell phone so that other customers can use the table. Several hours later, a lady came in asking for her cell phone. We told her that we do have a cell phone picked up from that table, and after her verifying the phone is hers, we gave it back to her. The only we touched her cell phone was so that other people can use the table. Nothing more.

Seoul is one of the few places in the world that makes me feel young and joyful again. It's vibrant and lively, and also wholesome in its own way. You'd think big cities - they'd lose that close connection with family/friends and focus more on professional life or individual healing. But in Seoul - at least for me - it was the opposite. I'd got to rekindle all my close connections more in Seoul than any other city out there.

Wrong! Nobody eats bibimbap separately! It is meant to be mixed. Bibimbap literally means mixed rice.

I really enjoyed the Vlog. I'am so sad you guys've only tried frozen meat in korea. if you have more time. try to have "SAENG-GALBI" or "SAENG-Samgyupsal" instead of the frozen meat. wish your family could make lovely memories in korea, and good luck on your travels. ;)

I had come across several youtube videos on foreigners who had been treated unwelcome in Seoul, especially taxi, bus drivers, and some Bar restaurants. Is that true?

Nobody's and no countries immune from haters whatsoever agendas they harbor, Korea is no exception. Experience the country yourself and find out 🤔

hi there! we're sorry to hear that. although we can understand we haven't personally experienced anything unkind or unwelcoming while here. the vast majority of people we have met here and in our travels have been so kind and generous and go out of their way to help us, even when we cannot speak the same language.

The general consensus is "if it ain't yours, don't take it." That being said, it is still a "general consensus." Not everybody agrees, and just like any other country in the world, Korea also has its share of jerks, douchebags and criminals. Please use cautions, especially if you are planning to have fun exploring the night life in Korea. Things usually gets worse fast when alcohol is involved.

But that number is still so low compared to other countries. We are taught as kids that stealing is shameful and we can starve and ask for help but never steal. I started commuting alone in Seoul since I was in my 2nd grade of school. I think the only countries I can think of that are as safe as Korea would be Taiwan and Japan.
