Agreed 100% for any breed. We want performance but we must maintain standard!

Sorry guys, but I think Richard Apadaca's " Toolbox Method " is a much better video than this one. As he clearly explains the size principal and his thoughts on how he does things. The great Staf Van Reet said. " Never suffer from loft blindness and always be on the look out for that better bird to put into your own family, so you are continuously moving forward."

then you've got to consider, that there are still perfect performance Portuguese tumblers etc on one end of size, and also on other there are perfect performance Oriental rollers etc. So size debate really is mute for performance quality, because either you'll have functional breeding performance birds or not.

The sizes are hard to talk about without the experience they are talking about. Pensom's era preached they can't get TOO small and I disagree as well. Our medium birds were are small in the Pensom era...

Size doesn’t matter but consistency does. Producing quality birds is the top priority if you’re trying to compete year round. Small medium big, colors, eyes not a problem, all myths. The only problems are from the trainer/breeder.
