Awesome video! I was there also on that day too! I actually make an appearance at 17:46 with my dad too lol. Hope they keep that SP 6 chime on for a long time.

Thank you very much! Not sure how long 148 will keep the SP 6, but it sure sounded nice!

Huh, didn't know 148 also supported a SP 6 chime the same day she wore 153's whistle. That still sounded great, but I think I prefer the SP 6 chime more. For a variety of reasons of course.

The whistle was #153's the entire day; Bowl was from an SP 6, Nathan 6 bell was installed over it

The upper is 153’s whistle the lower bell part is off another whistle the morning of it was remembered that 153’s whistle was directly boiler mounted not piped so to mount it a modification was required the lower bell wasn’t exactly the right size so the sound is off

It appears that the bowl was newly fabricated by Rizzoli Locomotive Works, hence the "RLW" lettering. This bowl was likely made for the new SP 6 chime, but apparently wasn't compatible with 153's Nathan bell when mounted, so they used the SP bell.
