I've not been a fan of the gen3 charger, but really do like the wide body and are a definite winner. It's really in a segment of its own and can't compare it to the Challenger as far as looks, and is the only true pony/drag car produced today. The big sedans are fantastic on the open road when in 392 or Hellcat trim, and are very comfortable roadsters that happen to be very quick. You are right Joe, the f8 is such a beautiful color and is awesome that they brought it back after all of these years of being absent. It would look even more impressive with matte black on the hood, and is what I would do if I owned one in f8. Years ago I had a 74 Challenger painted in it, and is one of my favorite Mopar colors

It all really depends on what you are after. 52k gets you a 6.4 with a widebody and a lackluster interior. The other option is something like a Stinger GT2 for 52k which loses you the V8 and 100 hp, but you gain a ton in features and a little more in utility. It is such a tough choice to make, but I went with the features over the engine.

I just picked up one of these in May and love it!! Mine is the Knuckle White with the Premium package and gloss black roof. A truly fun family vehicle and very fast when you need to pass. Get compliments all the time from strangers and fellow enthusiasts. There's nothing else like it on the road. And when you put it in Sport or Track mode it's even more aggressive with the handling, steering and active exhaust. Also from what I've seen on the internet and KZitem these are very underrated as far as HP. These are pushing more close to 505 HP. There's plenty of videos out there of people running these and the gouges in the Performance Pages metering past 500 HP. Also any new 2020 Widebody I've seen race any other previous years Scat Pack pulls away easily. Thanks again Raiti for all of your informative and fun reviews!

I just looked it up and the widebodies stop from 60 to 0 in 107 ft with the 6 piston brembos, and is 3' shorter than my Challenger SRT8 with 4 pistons. Which is amazing for both of them considering the weight of these big beautiful pigs, but especially with the newer ones because the Hellcats weigh in at a little over 300lbs more than the early SRT8s and is the difference with the 6 piston set up. It says that the wide bodies are 4470, and know that my Challenger is 4140. It is kind of interesting to note that the granddaddy's are lighter and realize its primarily because of the bigger brakes & supercharger etc

Nice detailed video on the charger, I know most people will disagree with me but I do not like the wide body on the charger looks pretty good on the Challenger I was surprised to see no cooling seats and no rear heated seats, my 2018 has those options, I did have to put a Tazer in my OBD to get line lock launch control but well worth it, I do like the wider tires, brand new out of the show room $41,000 in 2018 with 33 miles on it

Joe, that is a really nice car but I probably would never buy it simply because I live in the North and rear-wheel drive cars aren’t practical here. On top of the fact that I would probably prefer something that is all-wheel since there are so many all-wheel options out here. I’ll also say that I’m somewhat disappointed because I had a brand new SRT in 2013 and I think that was the first year that they had upgraded a lot of design on the SRT, and now they’ve basically taken the same engine in that truck and stuck it in every other Dodge/Jeep model...smh. Lol. The engine is the same engine in the stock SRT w/ rear-wheel drive. Love your vids!

You know people 52k isn't a set in stone price you can negotiate car prices. You should be able to get this car OTD for 42k. You can get 5k rebates plus negotiating you can get a good deal. Picked up my 19 Scat a year ago this month and it has the Plus group, sun roof, leather interior, cooled and heated seats, and all that, just not the widebody. I came OTD with an extended warranty for 38.5k when I signed the dotted line and drove it home.
