@fluffyres6107
2 жыл бұрын
@@badboy-gn8fu Well, its difficult for me to say. I don’t usually take trips longer than 45mins in the Miata, as I daily drive an Infiniti. Generally though, its pretty comfortable with the exception of a lack in lumbar support. This was most certainly corrected with the current generation, which is miles more comfortable than my ’99 model year. As for practicality, I can confirm its adequate with storage space and the trunk is big enough to run errands to places like the supermarket and still house a spare tire. Anyways, I think you should test drive and find out for yourself it it will work with your lifestyle.

A Club with the Brembo/Recaro pkg ($4,500) is nice. Or, you could do what I did. I bought a 2019 GT-S and put the cost of the Brembo/Recaro pkg towards a Stage 2 sport suspension, a 'Little Big Brake Kit' (4-pistons @ each corner), lighter wheel & tire combo and a sport exhaust. $4,500 paid for nearly all of it. The comfort/luxury items combined with as much street performance that a guy could want. One might say it's as much fun as you can have with your clothes on, 'cause nakedity in a drop-top is sub-optimal.

Couple of additional points: Joe didn't emphasize it, but it's incredible how really tiny these things are. In person, they just look like a little bullet, and just beg you to get in abd let it rip. Also, Miatas have always been bulletproof. I'm on my 4th and have beaten them all like rented mules; the harder you drive them the more they like it! Really a small miracle that Mazda can still afford to build this car on a dedicated platform that is this sophisticated. Thank you Mazda!

Really wish these reviewers would stop providing this constant misinformation that the Club's handling is stiffer/sportier then the GT's. It's not. They're identical. The 6-speed manual GT has the exact same Bilstein shocks, strut brace tower, LSD, KPC, and suspension spring rates as the Club. Same ride height, as well. Only the Club is available with the $4,500 Brembo/BBS/Recaro Package, but none of those things reduce body roll, nor do they increase the suspension stiffness. That package has zero effect on sporty handling, so the even with that package the Club still has the exact same body roll and suspension plushness as the GT. On the street, you'll never notice those very expensive Brembo brakes or BBS wheels. The only difference you will notice is the Recaro seat, and, again, that's only if you pay the $4,500 upcharge from the regular Club. Otherwise, they're the exact same damn car, except that the GT offers more luxury amenities.

After owning a GT RF for a month the things I would like are: 1) A digital MPH readout. It could fit in the speedometer in the lower right corner. 2) A space for my wallet and smart phone. 3) Lumbar support. I have to use a lumbar cushion or my back will be sore for a couple of days. 4) Factory supplied remote keyless entry button to put the top up/down without having to get into the car. 5) A third detent on the driver's door. The first stop is useless because I can't get into or out of the car with that door setting. The last stop is so wide there is increased danger of the door hitting something like another parked car or other obstructions. A third door stop between the other two would solve the problem.

Well idk what else to call what I got on my 22 GT but, from what my window sticker says. That it comes with standard bilstein shocks and an LSD rear end with the KPC system? And the reason I mention the bilstein is because those came off of the club edition, standard on the GT now? And I’ve driven a club edition and they feel exactly the same when it comes to stiffness and Handling. So I’m just confused now since he mentions that the GT suspension is softer? And I’m not talking crap lol I just want to stay informed if anyone can clarify for me 😂 thank you.

I hear the 5-second 0 - 60 time advertised everywhere. Don't believe it. Excellent car but 98.5% of us are not getting that time. 6.5 - 7.5 seconds.

Do you feel any difference with the kinetic posture control for this model year?

Mazda back up cameras are awful. I have a 2020 mazda6 and it looks like Vaseline is smeared on the lens. I have a 2016 Miata- no need for a back up camera, really. Top is almost always down

I hope they keep this current generation for one more year at least. It’s nearly perfect. Maybe the infotainment centre can be updated. Fingers crossed for a ‘23 in my future. 😀 Also, you didn’t mention the new KPC for ‘22, and I think there is more storage behind the seats. 👍

"Astonding" is not word, by the way. It's "astounding." I think you may be combining "astonishing" and "astounding" :P

I really wish they would throw the turbo in the Miata and make it really fun.

Wait, 7” is the smallest? Somebody told me that 7” was a little above average.
