If it had been flat the entire way like many other suv's have. That would have opened up that space far better. I see it being a deal breaker for A LOT of families. THANK GOD for the power liftgate. I don't know what the hell Toyota was thinking on previous model 4 runners not including that feature stock from the get go. Considering how expensive these trucks are in limited trim. Nobody should have to purchase a roughly $700 after market power liftgate when that should be standard for the price. I'm glad they finally listened.

Hmm. Maybe some interior LED lighting fixtures and brighter colors. Also, the trunk space is still too small. Perhaps, get rid of the third row arm rests, and drop to a flat level of 2nd row folded seats so any 8 feet long items or skiing equipments can sit flat with liftgate closed.

@@edc1969it's not "twin turbo" its a pretty small single turbo for low end power. Plus the added hybrid power will take some stress from the power train on equipped models. Will it be as reliable as the v6? Probably not. But there's plenty of turbo vehicles on the road that have well over 200k miles and are relatively problem free. Even my 30 year old Audi with 200k miles is still 100% original other than wear items and burns no oil or has any shaft play in the turbo at all and that's with a pretty hard driven life.

I also have to agree with other commenters. Toyota goofed on the 2nd row folding style of those seats. You have nearly 90cu feet of space with everything folded. Yet you have a 2nd row that has a HUGE problem they aren't FLAT...!!! They should have made it completely flat back there the whole way through. And that would have opened up a ton more space. I know with my rear view camera when to stop when backing into my garage so I can still open the gate and unload my groceries and still be able to close the garage door. I won’t be able to do that with the 2025. I really like the new one. I think I’d be better off customizing mine. It is super clean and super nice. Marine blue. People love mine and want to buy it. I’d love that updated bigger screen. Odd thing, if I add my iPhone contacts to the radio, it will totally shut off every couple of minutes. If anyone knows a fix for that, please let me know.
