Many alleged contradictions arise because an unfair standard, or false expectation, is applied to the Bible. Some of these false expectations include: Selection (or omission) of certain facts is a denial of other facts. If something is accurate, then it must also be precise. Ordering of events must always be chronological. Time compressing events of a story is errant. Mysteries in the Bible are irreconcilable. Here are some additional resources to help you defend the reliability of the Bible: Bible Differences Aren’t Contradictions rsn.pub/42xSGAM Is the Bible Full of Contradictions? rsn.pub/42C5xBW

The "up to Jerusalem" is not just elevation, though some elevation has to do with it, it was religious in signifigance, Jerusalem was where the temple is, and it is always up, to the "mountain of God" so to speak.

It's not about different perspectives but to different people in the Gospels. If you look at the (COLOR) of robes in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. It deals with the end time mysteries and is a typology of those people. The first will be last and the last will be first! Luke is for the Bride of Christ, Mark is for the sleeping church, and Matthew is the Jews. Pre, Mid, Post rapture is all true. There are no contradictions if you remove the focus on just Matthew.
