Hey everyone! Maybe I wasn't entirely clear in the video on what I was trying to convey. The GoPro Hero 8 is a fantastic camera and as I do say in the video it is their top of the line best model yet. However, for me personally, I feel there isn't a major difference between the GoPro Hero 7 and the GoPro Hero 8 and so I'm choosing to pass on the Hero 8 model and stay with the Hero 7. And, for anyone who does own a Hero 5 or 6, those are great cameras too but depending on the accessories you own and the type of footage you take, you may not need the Hero 8. However, if anyone is looking to upgrade, the Hero 8 is the best one available. I am not saying that the Hero 8 is bad or not worth it, I am personally choosing to pass on it and explaining my reasons for that!

You need to know what you're talking about before you talk about it, first of all the Hero 8 is a MAJOR improvement over the Hero 5-6, second, the built in finger mounts on the Hero 8 ARE just as tight as the Hero 7 cage with NO movement IF you tighten the thumb screw tight! Third how can you tell any of this when you have not personally experienced this when you don't even have one. I Have both the Hero 7 and Hero 8 so I do know.

Hey P B, thanks for your comment! Maybe I wasn’t clear on my point in the video 😬😬 Of course the Hero 8 is a massive improvement on all of the previous GoPro models and I do say in the video that the 8 is their best one yet. My point in the video was to address anyone who already owns the Hero 5/6/7 with all the accessories and say that for a couple of reasons I ‘personally’ won’t be upgrading to an 8 as for my personal use, I don’t see a major difference in the footage I take and this may apply to many others. Between the 7 and 8 there isn’t a significant difference for day to day use. For professional film making, of course there is. Hands down the 8 is the best one yet and I have had a chance to demo it and play around with it. I’m just expressing how I felt and why I chose to skip this model. Have an awesome day dude! 😉
