Looking at buying a new grill. Reviews on Monument grills have been good. I'm looking at 4 burner and 6 burner. I'm only cooking for 2, but always seem to make a lot of food (and eat it all). I enjoyed your pros and cons of this grills. Often KZitem video's don't give a true review, but you seemed to be honest in your review. Thanks

My only reason looking at this model was because it comes with both a side burner and sear burner. I wish they made a 4 burner version of it with a rotisserie burner

I just bought their 4 burner model that comes with the side burner and side sear some. It gets delivered next week. I liked seeing it in person at my local Lowe's and I hope it lasts me a while considering i paid 500 bucks plus tax for it.

The 4 burner with the 2 side burners is perfect, I thought it might be small but it's not, I can fit alot of food on it. The whole grill is heavy duty. The grill is easy to clean, grease trap can be removed easily .The wheels on it suck ass and the bottom doors could use better magnets but everything else is great, the price on it is affordable

Yeah, nah. Apart from changing the foil grease traps as needed, and scraping the crusties off the grate before each use, I’ve cleaned my genesis grill exactly once in my 6 years of ownership, and that was only when I bought it used off Craigslist. It still looks and cooks better than any other gas grill I’ve ever used.

Excellent review! You were straight forward, yet informative and really thank you for mentioning the "future proof" aspect. I recently moved and don't know anyone yet. The most I'll have to cook for is my son & grandson when they come by and I'm not even an avid griller. So this made me think more realistically, I'll be looking into their smaller model. Great video, very helpful! Im curious if you have had experience with the rotisserie feature... does it work well or is it more of a gimmick? That''s causing me to debate between the 4 or 6 grill option (the 4-grill doesn't come with the rotisserie function AFAIK).

Thoughts on the pros and cons of the stainless steel grates on the six burner, versus the cast iron that appears to come on the 4 burner model?
@tomwadek
Жыл бұрын
Cast iron will be more prone to rust and is generally heavier with more care involved but retains heat and give a great sear depending on its size and density. Ss will be more maintenance free and can still provide a great sear if it has a thicker gauge. A lot of folks suggested buying “GrillGate” to take this grill to another level

This company makes a Natural Gas grill also, I think two. I wonder why NG grills are becoming more scarce these days. Most are Propane now and when you find NG they cost more and often times you need to pay even more on top of the grill by buying a conversion kit that doesn't come with it.

I want to be sure I have room for a griddle for sides and still have room for burgers etc. I’m trying to decide between a 4 burner or a 6 burner. Menards has the 6 for $599 and Lowes has the 4 for nearly $500 so It seems like a no brainer but I’m afraid the 6 is just way too big. Thoughts?
