As for the room, I was never in it, except to change clothes and sleep. If you are staying in your room at Starcruiser, then you aren't doing it right. Create a SW "Classic" Starcruiser trip. Part of the backstory of the Halcyon is that Leia and Han had their honeymoon there. Why not use that as the basis of a new storyline? Chewbacca and R2D2 are already wandering around. So, it becomes Han, Leia and Darth Vader. There should be a night excursion to Baatu with a wedding reception/dance at Oga's. And the reveal at the end is Han. I know purists will say it doesn't fit the timeline with Batuu, but it would be fun.

Man Obi-Dad, I don't know what you do for a living, but you must be making serious cheddar. I appreciate you saying you have to have a good attitude to have a good time at least 3 or 4 times. Even though your very good at that, it seems like a red flag. Also with inflation and the recession were in, it's probably closer to $7500 now. Let me be clear Obi-Dad, your channel is a favorite of mine, we have the same passion for lightsabers and I'm and older dude like you. I grew up on Star Wars when the OT came out. My wife and daughter went to Disney World for my 51st, I can't tell you how let down I was. The genie+ is a nightmare, and a cash grab, Galaxies Edge was was basically 2 rides(we got on smugglers run) Rise of the resistance was broken ALL DAY, so the hotel guests couldn't even ride, and everything else was mostly lame merch and retail shops. They didn't have a saber I wanted, so I got the.Maul shadow saber, and back in March there were zero cast members anywhere. So we spent $1000 on a mediocre experience. @@fgdj2000Ironic, you are the one not tolerating other opinions XD. The hotel didn't shut down because it was such a great experience and totally worth the money. Every bit of criticism about this hotel was fair. On complaining in general, complaining is the only way to get Star Wars into a positive development, since Star Wars is declining. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. And nobody seems to complain about Andor...weird, it seems that Star Wars fans don't automatically hate everything produced by Disney, they only don't like bad writing, overpriced rip-offs (aka the Starcruise) and consumer blaming.
@fgdj2000
4 ай бұрын
@@corn.3892 Wrong, I just didn't care for that "Get help" comment. If you hate everything Disney does, more power to you, just be factual about it, try not to have double standards and hopefully have truly interesting reasons. I'm all for a conversation where "we" if not convince each other at least get insights into the other opinion and maybe even get to articulate ours better. As for the starcruiser, of course it was ridiculously overpriced. The idea still seems cool, and a lot of effort and interesting ideas went into this (as far as I can tell from videos, since I am also not super rich). Complaining doesn't do anything. Not watching, not buying it, that grabs the attention of the higher ups. Then again, commercial success and quality sadly don't always overlap, at all. Also, it's the way that many people complain that annoys me, since it's usually on a teenager's level, just coming from grown men and women in their 30s or even 40s, some of whom have even spoken about how a "negative" video gets way more reviews and clicks than a positive one. As for Andor, I thought this was one of the best shows (period) in recent years, but I've also seen a lot of Star Wars fans complain about the darker tone, the absence of Jedi and lightsabers. So, not quite so unanimous as you thought. Also, let's not forget that a fandom like Star Wars is massive and different groups have different opinions and usually someone is always having something to complain about.
@corn.3892
4 ай бұрын
@@fgdj2000 Complaining and criticizing is the only way to put Star Wars on a right track. Otherwise, how should Disney know if their product is well received? Commercial success is not a reliable metric. Complaining is simply an opinion, and calling it stupid is simply insulting and wrong. It's not wrong for Star Wars fans to complain about Andor having no Jedi or a darker tone, it's their opinion. But no one hated Andor, like it was the case for Ashoka or Obi Wan.

Are there exclusive missions on the data pad if you stay at the galactic starcruiser?
@FindingTheForce
2 жыл бұрын
Hey Carmen, I think all of the missions are only exclusive to guest to stay on the Starcruiser. If you're walking through galaxies edge you can still use the data pad on your phone with a Disney play app to hack signals and unlock crates to find fun but meaningless collectibles

As a huge Star Wars nerd who geeked out when I first went to Galaxy's Edge, this'll be a dream for me. Just wish I could go to do the lightsaber stuff, but it doesn't seem like that'll be possible with the price of the Starcruiser. Looks amazing though!

Personally I dislike the Sequel Trilogy so when I eventually do save for this to go with Friends and with My Partner I'd wait until they switch back to either the Empire Era or Clone Wars Era that way I'd fully enjoy it but it does look genuinely fun however for just two nights I feel the price is definitely a bit of a blow especially since it seems you don't have enough time to fully enjoy everything

For $6000 I can buy and have to own till it craps out a very nice entertainment system or a good computer systems with a nice TV/monitor. I would get years of playing games, watching movies and streaming television. That is worth it. A two day trip for the same $6000 would only get me memories that will fade pretty quickly unless I spent the extra $$$ for the movie version.

As a dad my review of anything is necessarily going to be just a reflection of how much my kids enjoyed it. I am an OG fan, having stood in line to watch Star Wars in 1977, and no matter how much I can nitpick, if my kids are having a good time, then so am I - even if my inner geek-fan was cringing in pain. I couldn't be an objective reviewer.

Does it include a massage by a guy wearing a princess dress? Because that's usually why people go to Disney parks.
