Isn’t the CRS their best-selling model?

@@reverb508 possibly or the Studio Sig. I think it was their first and longest running model. In groups I am a member of, I mostly see the Traditional Clean, TS1, and Silver Sterling.

Great Amp....Also look into the SUHR BELLA.

I have a 100 watt CRS head and 2/12 cab. It blooms and is so dumble like. Very dynamic and touch sensitive. Also have a Germino Club 40 and Germino Classic 45 for Marshall tones. I have a Fargen Blackbird 6L6 combo that I was going to sell when I got the CRS.. but it’s much more mobile. All of them eat pedals so I’m not hurting for tone. Also.. sexy Porsche. What is that red car? Cars and guitars.. but of course. 😂

How is your CRS at bedroom levels?

@@jasoncheshire6153 It’s really great because I’m using it with a rather large pedal board. Klon, fuzz pedals, overdrives.. and it eats them all. But yes.. when it’s cranked up.. the tubes and speaker start to bark out a little complexity onto the amps normal base tone. Loud amp. I haven’t had a chance to play it REALLY cranked up. In a studio and I don’t have a cab room at the moment.

Great tones ! How do you compare it to the new Vintage Deluxe ?
@waltgracevintage8620
9 ай бұрын
Hey, it's a totally different amp. The CRS sounds much more modern and articulate while the VD has that classic vintage Fender sound but with modern appointments that make it a lot more versatile than a traditional Deluxe. The CRS also has a lot more power and gain available. I'd say go with the Classic Reverb if you want the ultimate modern boutique amp or the Vintage Deluxe if you want a reliable vintage Deluxe Reverb but with more volume, gain, built-in boost and a fx loop. Both are great, i'd be happy with either or.

Can you use this amp at low volume, apartment volume, without an attenuator?
@waltgracevintage8620
6 ай бұрын
Yes, one of the things that makes this amp special is that the transformer is designed to work in conjunction with the master volume to maintain the same feel of compression and frequency perception at all volumes. So in essence it works like a proper master volume should by only affecting volume not tone, therefore the amp feels and sounds the same at any volume, so yes it can be played quietly.

The Two-Rock Classic Reverb Amp IS the best, …just after the Tone King Imperial MKII.
@keithremedy
9 ай бұрын
Anybody saying this hasn’t really had time to play a CRS enough. Tone king does the blackface and tweed thing pretty well better than most fenders but the Two Rock does the blackface thing times a thousand being a super reverb on steroids and is so versatile that you can not only get Dumble like tones but also full blown Marshall tones if needed. The Classic also takes pedals far better and has way more headroom. I had a imperial for 4 years btw and I’d say it’s some what incomparable with almost any amp on two rocks lineup with the exception of the burnside

@@keithremedy I appreciate your enthusiasm for the CRS, but Marshall tones? C'mon. It doesn't get anywhere near Boston Harbor, let alone Milton Keynes. The CRS is simply the biggest, baddest black panel Fender-inspired amp in production today. It out Deluxe's a Deluxe, out Twin's a Twin, and out Super's a Super, for sure, but it has its own thing going on from Marshall. And thank Jeebus for that. I don't want to live in a world where having a Fender-inspired and Marshall-inspired amp is considered redundant (yes, I know that the earliest Marshalls are just Bassman clones...)

@reverb508

@@mccauley6027I can appreciate that you think the CRS is the better amp, but without pedals, it cannot do everything the Imperial does. For starters, it doesn’t have tremolo. Also, the Imperial has way more gain on tap. It breaks up more on the rhythm channel and gets really filthy on the lead channel. The CRS doesn’t get anywhere near that dirty, even when cranked. Speaking of cranked, the built in attenuator on the Imperial MK II allows you to get the amp cooking while keeping the volume in check. I think the CRS is the better sounding amp, but to assert that it does everything the Imperial does is simply not true.
