People always tell me the Suzuki V-Strom 650 is not good offroad, and i do not agree. It's important to think about what offroad means in the sense of adventure travel, while traveling the world extreme offroad is off the table. It's simply too risky to do the extreme offroad riding, you risk the entire trip and emergency services can be very far away. The V-Strom 650 offroad is not a dirt bike, but it gets the job done. Never on my trip so far have the V-Strom 650 been the limiting factor offroad.
