The footprint of the system really helps it outshine the rest.

I'd end up doing the same with my Canon gear if I get out of full-time shooting at some point. If Fuji releases a super35 cinema camera though, it's game over.

Fujifilm has really nailed the retro inspired look on their modern cameras. If I was in the market for a new digital camera, this would definitely make the short list.

Nice, my man. Some great points - I bought the x-t5 3 times and sold it 3 times... I really loved most things about it, but the body just... didn't feel great in my hands. I tried multiple grips, etc.... but oh well. This camera could definitely be the last photo camera anyone buys... it's got it all!

This is kind of why it's weird they didn't give us the grip option on this too, but you and I both know that the best camera is the one you don't have to think about when you grab. Pretty sure I could give you a potato and you'd knock out wall-worthy work.

i also love my xt-5! it really is the perfect hybrid camera for my professional work. i can't imagine myself needing more than 40mp or 6k video loll alsooo i always love how your vids show what's on your camera's screen as well as that 360 of you, it really adds so much to your videos!

It's crazy how even 5 years you'd need to take out a mortgage for specs like that. Also thanks for the feedback on the 360 cam. I was questioning keeping it tbh but I'll keep it going for a while longer and pray premiere doesn't grenade

With my xt5 In the right light outside… I have been able to deliver family portraits straight out of camera jpgs. With minor tweaks in exposure… talk about a time saving workflow ;) . This same family has them printed large in there home and they look 👌 I still get false positives with eye af more frequently than I would like. Do you have this issue at all?

I don't recall taking a photo that had the focus box where it was supposed to be and the photo came out soft, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened on AF-C in all honesty.

I’m super curious about the 50 f1. I own the newer 56 1.2 WR and the images seem almost too sharp for me lol… guess I’m looking for a low light portrait lens with a touch of character ;)

Tbh for portraits I think you're good with that. The 50 F1 for speed is unmatched though.

Totally unrelated, The buster sword you got on amazon... is it soft enough to hit people with without leaving bruises?

It's a larping prop so in theory, but you swing anything hard enough and it's going to be a bad time.
