I can relate so much like eczema is horrible. People bully me in school and the teachers don’t understand and the looks that I get are just awful. I get treated like an outsider and what’s even worse is that my own mom says that it’s not that bad and just stop scratching but she doesn’t understand.all the creams that I use are helping but they make me hairy and for me my problem is my legs they are so hairy and the cuts are not cute. All I have in my closet are long pants I have no short pants and I live on a island which is even worse cause of the heat and global warming isn’t even trying to help. And thats not all but I can’t it’s too much to type so yeah

No bc I’ve had eczema all my life. Diagnosed around an infant and has had it all my 16 years alive. 😭I can’t use anything scented, detergent, perfume, lotion, body and hand wash, shampoos etc. my flare ups Can come from weather, fragrance, pets, if my skins dry, dye, contact with certain things. I’ve tried stuff and nothing rlly helps it. They get bad to the point where they bleed, skin peels off, and turns yellow sometimes. Once there was a time where it left a huge yellowish mark on my face 💀. Kids legit used to run from me when I was younger or I’d get told that i might pass them a disease.Tho it’s hard, I’ve learned to embrace it and not let it take control. I been diagnosed with eczema since the age of two. I remeber waking up after itching the heck out of my arm and it was bleeding and puffy. The pain and burning is so bad there are no words. When I was 16 I found out it had no cure, It broke me. The looks you get when you have red patches all over your neck and face, gosh it makes me feel like a freak. The stinging is so bad. I tell people I have eczema and I get constant “oh yea I had it as a child it wasn’t bad”. Hopefully there is hope for a cure.

Living with eczema, especially since childhood, can indeed be a challenging and emotional journey. The physical pain and discomfort, coupled with the societal perceptions and misunderstanding, can take a toll on one's well-being. The lack of a cure can be disheartening, and the constant search for relief is undoubtedly exhausting. It's crucial to connect with dermatologists and healthcare professionals who specialize in skin conditions to explore the most effective management strategies for your unique situation. Advancements in research are ongoing, offering hope for improved treatments and, potentially, a cure in the future. In the meantime, seeking understanding and support from those who genuinely empathize with your experience can be a source of comfort. Remember, you are not alone in your journey, and ongoing efforts in medical research may bring positive changes in the landscape of eczema treatment.

As someone who has suffered from this and treated it time and time again on my self, my number one advise would be… to be very mindful of your diet and what you are consuming this is key 🔑 start a elimination diet, go to the bare basics for one month, strictly “whole foods” nothing processed or manufactured or added. So basically if you cannot eat it in it’s natural form (how it is grown naturally from the earth) then do not consume it. Cooking is okay i.e meat, fish, vegetables. After one month on this strict diet you will see radical healing of your symptoms. If you can stick to this diet then great if not you start to re-introduce your tasty must have foods and then see if they trigger the symptoms to come back. Key number 2 - hydration, some say the body is made up of upto +90% water so stay hydrated people!! This will allow the skin to be more moist and allow your bodily functions (organs) to do their job (detoxing) and maintain a good harmony (balance) with in the body. Please seek professional medical advice on how much water you should consume on a daily basis. It’s Pretty easy to Google and look at different sources of advice too. Also a good tip “drink the best water” that you have access too. Not all waters are made equally lol, but being correctly hydrated on any water is better than being dehydrated. Key number 3 - stress management as we all know the stressful periods in our lives are when we get the worst symptoms, it’s best to incorporate daily rituals in order to manage your stress levels more effectively, things to do : activities you love doing. Meditation , yoga , listening to music that calms you. Being in nature, listening to nature, handling the cause of the stress so it’s more manageable later on in life. Remove people and situations from your life which are causing stress. Learning to navigate through life’s stresses is a whole topic within its self. There are Loads of helpful videos on KZitem to cover this subject. Last but not least, please remember that you and you alone are responsible for your healing journey, please please please do the research watch the videos and take the steps to trying what ever it takes for you to find what works for you. No doctors or family member is going to work as hard as you can work in fixing these issues, it’s time to take back our universal given powder and make a change. Remember that’s there’s a life out there where you can mange if not “eliminate” these symptoms all together. if your are willing to make the sacrifices in order to live a better day to day life. Also everybody is different you have to find what combination on methods work for you and don’t give up, you’re more powerful than you could ever know.

Btw if anyone itches in their sleep and wakes up covered in blood and scratches, lying in dead skin. I recommend wearing plastic gloves to bed. It may sound silly but it's really helped me because if I do itch in my sleep, my nails won't directly touch my skin, so I'll do less damage. If you get Eczema on your hands, you put the cream on first, then the gloves on top.

Hi, I've suffered severe eczema all my life and have gone on a healing journey for 7 months now, here's what I have discovered that might help you: - Ketogenic or carnivore diet really helped me reduce inflammation and dramatically reduce the need for steroid creams. If your diet is not easy on your gut, you will never heal, so this is the primary thing. The main thing about this that helps is avoiding the artificial sugars, seed oils, processed foods and high amounts of carbohydrates. - Fasting, if you can do it, is even more effective than diet. The keto/carnivore diets are called 'fasting mimicking diets', so it makes sense that the real thing works even better. The big drawback is that you can't fast forever (obviously). - Breathwork is extremely effective at combating a flare-up immediately and a few hours after (look up Wim Hof and the podcast on breathwork by Huberman) - Avoid all chemicals as much as possible. That includes deodorant, perfume, soap, shower gel, processed foods, etc. - Bathing with Epsom salt helps many people, although the effect on me is not that dramatic. As with all of these measures, everyone reacts differently. - Most importantly, realize that steroid creams greatly increase eczema in the long term. Quitting these is extremely dangerous, because it can cause severe eczema for months or more, so be cautious in doing this. I am now 3 months free, but went through 1 horribly bad month. It's now much better than before quitting. - Lastly, listen to your body. See how you react to different measures. Try new measures constantly, listen to podcasts and people's experiences to learn about new measures, and never give up. Be well my friend.

I have eczema and it is on my whole body. I’ve had it since I was born and it is so bad. My skin turns red and puffy and I have used so many creams. The one thing that worked for me was dupixent. It’s a shot you take. Depending on your age is how often you take it. 1 month 5-9 yo Every 2 weeks 10-15 yo every week for 16+

I cured it! I had eczema my whole life. And i recently cured it, no more pain and itching, no more dumping gallons of moisturizer on me. I cured it by following Mikhaila Peterson's research and diet, after seeing another man rid his eczema through it. No more of the foods I love only meat and select vegetables. If i eat anything else my skin will begin to get red. There is hope for all of you but it's a big sacrifice!

I have eczema all over my body. Been 9 years already. Because of this, i have black spots everywhere. I can't wear sleeveless, shorts, saree, crop top. It breaks my heart everytime i see people wearing shorts n all. I can't even wear sleeveless. I don't know if i can ever be able to wear or not. But i hope i can. Those who are suffering from it, Cheer up guys. You are not alone. Let's fight it together. I have consulted with a dermatologist. Been using ointment and moisturizer. Guys it's very important to moisturize your skin. Make sure to do it twice each day. Take bath twice. After bathing use moisturizer. Choose your moisturizer wisely. Do not use fragrance moisture. Research properly. I am using Glymax. And it's working really well. Also you can use coconut oil regularly. Before going to bed apply coconut oil. But make sure When you have irritation or itching or redness on the skin, don't apply coconut oil on it. It will get worse. Only apply when the redness gone and only spots is there. Consult a dermatologist as well. Because you have to cure your eczema from within as well. They will recommend medicine. Also try to consume nonveg less. And green vegetables more. And most important thing exercise and sleep. Do not forget this. Hwaiting guys. YOU CAN DO THIS. It has the cure. But with more sacrifices. But if you are determined to cure, you can reach there. Remember You are not alone. We all are in this together.

My dermatologist told me to always use creams with ceramides because they moisturize better and repair natural skin ceramides destroyed by eczema... This has been really helpful to keep flares at bay. Also limit dehydrating foods and drink lots of water. The dryer the skin, the worse the eczema

You should try taking an allergy test, I’m 14 and I’ve had eczema since I was 1. I only went to a naturopathic doctor for a allergy test because I was way too desperate. It turned out I was sensitive to dairy, eggs, wheat and peanuts, which where the most common ingredients I took in my daily life. I stopped for about 7 months now, and my skin has gone better tremendously to the point where I would only have 1-2 scars on my body. If you cannot afford an allergy test, which costs quite a bit, you can try completely removing dairy eggs and wheat out of your diet and your skin would definitely get better. Hope it helps, if you have any questions feel free to ask! Here’s are some things I take daily Omega 3 fish oil (helps dry skin) CeraVe Daily moisturizing lotion (NOT cream, I don’t like it because it’s too thick for me) Vitamin C (immune health and reduce redness) Metagenics BiomePro (probiotics that were given from my naturopathic doctor, it helps your gastrointestinal problems which are the root cause. I don’t think you can buy it anywhere, the doctor said it’s only purchasable from doctors and healthcare workers.)

@@Azzify I took an allergy test about five years ago. I'm allergic to wheat, gluten, dairy, and eggs. And yes, I agree with you on removing it from my diet. My only problem is at school, there's nothing for me to eat, so instead of going hungry, I'll eat whatever there is. Even if I am allergic~ what's worse is the fact that I'm a picky eater so I don't like many foods. Though, I know I shouldn't be putting myself through that, I'm hoping to be better this year for 2023. Maybe even get my eczema gone before I graduate from highschool in the next few years. Thanks so much for the tips, I really appreciate it and I'll try to be better~.

Take a glass of blended cabbage. Turmeric and ginger juice first in the morning and last at last. Eat lots of meat, fish, chicken most especially the fats. Add zinc and cod liver oil to your supplement. Skincare Start using hydrating, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory body wash with pH of 5.5. I am 20 years old & have battled eczema my entire life... it is very sad that doctors just prescribe fellow people with the same condition "steroid creams." They give temporary relief but it just comes crawling back. The fact that there is no cure is just ridiculous. It steers my life at certain points & makes me feel like a creep. From red mashed skin, loos skin, crepe skin, to cuts in the hand... they say it is not that bad but they have no freaking clue how hard it is to stop itching. I have tried every single possible thing, from different creams, meditating, gut cleanser.... it doesn't stop that wave of inflation and urge to itch. Someone please find the cure and make this specific skin conditioned people live a better life.

It sounds like you might be dealing with eczema or another skin condition. It's essential to consult a healthcare professional or a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. They can provide you with the right medications or creams to manage your symptoms. In the meantime, try to keep your skin moisturized with a fragrance-free moisturizer, avoid scratching, wear loose-fitting clothing, and consider taking shorter, lukewarm showers to help alleviate itching. Don't hesitate to reach out to a medical expert for personalized guidance and relief from your symptoms.
