Anyone who looks at the creature in the PGF and says, "it's a man in a costume" is either woefully ignorant, or being disingenuous. As most know, we can see muscle movement, breasts, hand movement and much more including a hernia on the leg. MK Davis has done great work showing this. I find it VERY unlikely that 2 men from the 60's (if they were planning on faking a bigfoot video) would decide to make a FEMALE sasquatch and add breasts to the "suit." I really don't think it would have crossed their minds. If someone had suggested it, I'm pretty sure they would have thought it was a horrible idea. I believe that the Sasquatch is real. It's some of the people that claim to have seen him that I think are fake! The Patterson/ Gimlin Film is 100% real it has proven the test of time. Everything on that film has been scrutinized; the gait, the arm length to body, the stride, hair movement, bulges in the muscle, the sagittal crest head, the turning of the complete head NOT the neck, the circumstance as to how this was filmed and that there was no technology to create such an elaborate costume for a human to fit into it and have the arm length and size the walk in that fashion. The stride is unique. Observe the knees and how they bend as they creature walks and the arm swings!! Further, it has been examined by anthropologists such as Dr. Krantz, Dr. Meldrum, and even skeptics like Dr. Sarmiento. It is compelling and authentic in every way you view it. Science and the government know it is real but there too many issues that will occur if the Scientific community recognize the species. The lumber industry for one would have to decrease its' harvesting of trees if the Sasquatch habitat is declared off limits.

In 1989 I had 3 possible 4 encounters with Sasquatch here in Herrin in Southern Illinois. I just moved out here from the Mojave desert in California in November 1987. I had spent my previous 17 years living out in the Mojave Desert. It was November of 87 when I arrived here. In the spring of 1988, I was eager eighteen-year-old wanting to explore the woods for the first time. I ventured to the outskirts in Herrin buy a railroad. Right at the edge of the woods was a tipi structure made out of wood with a big tree in the very center of it. This big tree had several big long branches broke off and leaned against the trunk in the very center. There was vines interweaving with leaves between all the branches. I walked over to the opening in the front there was about 7- 8-inches of brush in the bottom with long brownish red hair everywhere. I picked up a handful of hair about 8 to 10 in Long, looked at it and thought to myself. .. this must be a deer bed?" I know that sounds ridiculous but I just had spent my whole life in the Mojave Desert. The only thing I ever experienced where lizards, snakes, coyotes and maybe an occasional scorpion, I was not looking for a Bigfoot at all. I ended up not going out there until 1989. This time while I was in the woods, the creature was 25 feet away from me and I didn't know it. It took off running away from me. It sounded like it was as heavy as a horse, only it was running on two legs. It was only 25 to 30 ft away from me. I turned to look at it and all I could see was Cattail grass parting but, I could not see any creature. It had to have been invisible because, it was right there & I could not see it! I could see the grass moving, the sound was so close to me that the ground was shaking like when a horse runs. I could not see it & there is no reason why. I should have been able to see it. I could not understand it ? I ran for my life to get away from it! I went back out there with a friend around 4 1/2 hours later. I explain to my friend what happen earlier , he told me that it sounded like it was the Big Muddy monster. I asked him what is the Big Muddy monster? He said you know, Bigfoot . We found a trail with several 18in long human-looking foot prints. Around 7.5 in wide.

I find the Patterson Bigfoot film fascinating. Forget about scientists and biologists. The special effects masters from the films “Planet of the Apes” and “Congo” have all stated that even today, they could not re-create a costume of that size, muscular detail and movements, capable of allowing a man to stride across 200 yards of broken terrain. The gentleman from “Congo” went as far as to say, I don’t know what kind of creature that is - but it most definitely is not a man in a suit.

I just cannot believe with virtually everyone on earth having an HD camera in their pocket at all times, we cannot get any new clear, credible footage. The woods in the fall are filled with HD game cameras that snap on motion, yet you rarely see any bigfoot shots on them either, and if you do, it is blurry "arm" or "leg", where pictures of squirrels and raccoons are crystal clear. I really hope they are real, I just feel at this point, I would almost have to see one myself before I truly believed.

Well, Sir, the reason why you can find small, extremely rare animals and not Sasquatch is that the latter is too intelligent for camera traps, and is a consummate camouflage hider. Sorry about that syntax. Anyway, I’ve seen all kinds of animals notice camera traps on game trails within seconds, even though the cameras have no lights and emit very little sound. But then, if the individual cameras only hummed a bit, the animals would likely hear them, bc their hearing is much better than ours. Then, I’ve seen video footage of an animal taller than 6 feet who breathed a little hard, and was smart enough to stand off to one side as it disabled a camera, so you can’t see what it is, but it had very large, dexterous fingers. I don’t think your tiny rare animals could do that, just sayin.’

I thought is wise that this show didn't tell how Dr Johnson also believes these creatures have the ability to mindspeak telepathically and jump through portals and can become invisible at will. Dr Johnson is a quack who needs to talk a psychiatrist himself! ROFL!

william smith Lol mate exactly my thought. I saw an interview with him once and the whole encounter sounded legit with tears and everything but then he went on about portals and powers and I was like oh hell no. 😂

I wish people would leave "bigfoot" alone and let it live its life especially when there is a good chance that it has a family. Doesnt it deserve to live in peace?

My only question is why has no one ever found the remains of one? A carcass? A skeleton?

Supposedly, they bury their dead. Much more difficult to find than a carcass on the ground. Great question though! Great analytical thinking.

An exposed carcass would be predated on and scattered about by other animals. Otherwise the woods would be littered by various animal bones.

Good observation, however Dr. Meldrum and Dr. Sarmiento both observe that Bear carcasses are not found that readily either. Nature will dissolve the bones, hair and skin. If the Sasquatch is a hominid then they could bury their dead as well. Remember the Gorilla was a myth until the early 1800's.

The military knows their real. They have to put down an animal at least once a year that’s gone rogue and attacked a human. But, you didn’t hear this from me.

And, with all the witness accounts, it most certainly is NOT an extraordinary claim. It's become much more common. So all we need is more evidence.

I am a skeptic even after a event in 1986. My dog had a bad time and would not accompany me to the sites two and six years later, the only time in her life she did not respond to my call to her. On the flip side of hoax, no hoax is their was a ongoing dispute between the department of agriculture and local land owners over the location of the ApplacianTrail .... Nowadays truth is a distant second to money and while the big money is on youtube there are evidence of cross selling of simular ghoulish myths. There is one avenue thats largely dismissed and that is we are a simulation . Its at the far end of the big foot phenomenon but I wont dismiss the possiblity since the hig foot sightings are as a movie. You see the movie but thats the only aftermath, your memory. . Just like big foot sighting there is not archological evidence except for maybe butter stains om your shirt!
