I'm a big believer in beretta browning miroku where at their best through 70s 80s and into 90s, slowly cut costs on everything and make them to a budget now. I shoot 1970s mirokus, chopper lump barrels, disc set strikers, top pivot hammers, hand engraved , polished steelium barrels, today you pay a hell of a lot for that quality

You can learn to break clays with any gun but some guns suite you better than others and are easier to shoot also less tiresome . As long as I get out a couple of times a week I’m happy , sometimes I rattle them and other times I do less well but I still come away smiling 😊. I’ll never be A class but that doesn’t matter . I meet other shooters and have a great time 😁👍

Chatted with the crowd that turned up in the bad weather , came home , walked my dog , had my dinner , cleaned my two guns and ready for a shower and bed . What more can you ask for . Hope you smoke a few when you you go pal 👍😁

I have a Beretta 682 Gold e, O/U 12G and I love it. I'm new to the hobby, currently around 10 out of 25 in trap, around same in Skeet as well and still learning. I don't feel bad when I miss, the gun fires and I'm learning and that's most important. My 682 Gold e is 2004 manufactured model and not in 2022, it in fact appreciated way more, close to $4000 in used market if I sell today, but I would never, it's a keeper. I also own Beretta A400 Upland semi auto but 682 has its own charm.

Three of these came up for sale at one of my local dealers last year and given the opportunity to handle the guns I chose a minter with beautiful grade 5 stock for £1700. Shoots a treat with 32" barrels and I can honestly say its the best gun I own in my modest collection.

i had both a 32 inch sporter gold e , and an x trap gold eversion ......nice guns, the sporter is low in the comb and i had mine made adj. the x trap had a montecarlo, so no need there but was a lump (a sexy one though). I sold it to release some cash and bought a yildiz pro black. this out shoots the beretta's for me by far!! the stock is spot on, the balance fantastic and just exceptional value for money. i also shoot the litespeed and they are a great cart with great kills - bit punchier, but quality and great value.

Thanks Dave for doing a review of a Beretta (that must of hurt) value for money the 682 Gold E is a phenomenal gun, Its very well built, Just one issue, why do you keep seeing a lower comb as a negative thing? it may be for you but not for about 50% of the shooting population a lower comb is just fine.

So, what to you call a 2018 686 equipped with a NOS 682 Gold E adjustable stock. A heck of a good shooting gun. Of interest is that NOS stock I picked up was Hand Checkered and features EELL grade Walnut. Cost was 538.00 USD and the stock features Beretta's original adjustable comb hardware that is a rather inferior design.
