We've been on a tear throwing old school crankbaits for bass, and this week we take a look at a popular offering from Bagley's in the late 1980s, the Fat Cat. This mean, little crankbait has a unique profile and an even more unique action. Crafted from balsa wood, this Jim Bagley creation has long been popular with fishermen and lure collectors alike. In this episode we take a look at some lure spreads from the 1988 and 1989 Bass Po Shops Master Catalogs on the Bagley's Fat Cat and Mamma Cat, as well as take this vintage wooden crankbait to the local lake to see if it can still tempt bass today.
