I went from a Yamaha Tracer 900 to my K13s (same as yours) as, even though there was nothing wrong with the Yam it just didn’t wow me with anything it did. Hence I did just over 2000 miles in 3 years. Now the K13s is constantly calling me to take her out. She looks great, is too fast but handles like a dream for normal everyday. I love the retro look but also the tech. On the Yam if I hit a pothole I’d be bounced around, the ESA just soaks it up. Only had mine a few months but love it. There’s nothing out there to replace it, you could go R1200/1250 RS but they don’t look as pretty. Stick with it, plus you’re fixing everything yourself so no massive service bills.

It just does everything well, and whilst its been a bit problematic it's got me to know the bike and hopefully now I can enjoy it. Thanks for showing interest much appreciated.

I got a k1300s, a fantastic bike. It brings a huge smile. What bike is more fun and better then the k1300s ? It dont have to be a new bike, to be more fun or better.. I traded my Yamaha Tracer 900GT 2019 for a K 1300s 2009.

At this price range i would keep it, good commute bike, it's nice to look, and heck what's an occasional bit a cramp. Re the stupid over turned car. I was thinking that you we're possibly lucky, not to go down that road half hour or so earlier, muppets everywhere.
