Sorry about the bad lighting. We couldn't do much at the time of filming. Hope it doesn't distract too much.

I went to Bali years ago and it was beautiful. No one really talked about Bali back then. Now I hear it's overrun with tourists. I can't imagine that it has the same feeling as when I went there.

So many places are completely ruined by mass tourism nowadays. Crowds, mess, pollution... Places that used to be peaceful and beautiful nowadays became hotspots of mass tourism. It's far from enjoyable. It's always good to explore new places, untouched by mass tourism. Europe used to have a few hidden gems, unfortunately that is changing rapidly. Saudi seems like an interesting spot to check out.

Was in Saudi couple of times in the last 2 years and totally agree all what you said. Extremely friendly and welcoming people, we were totally shocked in a positive way. Was not expecting that at all.

Saudi Arabia is hosting the world cup in 2034 so it will be interesting to see how they handle over tourism in 10 years, to be honest they will be way more ready than Qatar.

I'd rather not be a tourist somewhere where you could get jailed for being drunk or bringing a lady friend to your hotel when you aren't married.

Stunning nature - We have a lot of different Landforms. Also, it is not true that there are no tourists, there are an increasing number of tourists, cuz Saudi Arabia is new to tourism sector. It is just opened up for tourists. Official government reports indicate that we reached 109 million tourists, 27 million of them is from abroad. Cuz of this Saudi Arabia ranks the 11th in terms of external tourists.

I'd say don't blame the people for the government. And sure, the government might profit from tourism but the reality is that KSA enjoys support from pro-LGBT countries. And lastly, women are struggling in many western countries. In reality, the Saudi government takes care of women far more than the USA does, which is embarrassing.

David don't believe everything you read online, women in Saudi are actually well respected & the majority are in high position jobs. A woman can do whatever a man does and dress codes goes for both genders, the abaya ( the black robe women wear ) isn't even mandatory.
