Hey Comment Section! I just wanted to take a minute to brag on Landon. I won the Les Paul Special in the giveaway last month, and I just wanted to say that Landon went above and beyond getting it to me. It was delayed crossing the border, and he kept in touch with me when I was having trouble with it. They had lousy tracking info and it looked like it sat still for over a week, and since I was the receiver, they wouldn't really do much for me. I told Landon, and he apparently he put the fear of God into them, because it suddenly arrived just a couple of days later. And on top of that, he repackaged it so that it looked like it came straight from the factory! He put in some extra effort on this giveaway. Just wanted the viewers to know that Landon is a Top-Notch Quality guy!

I think these guitars are awesome. I have LOTS of guitars - some expensive, some affordable. I have American Fenders, Mexican Fenders, Classic Vibe, a couple of Harley Bentons and tons of other stuff. I choose a guitar based on how I feel about it, not the price tag or what is written on the headstock. My two main guitars are my Harley Benton TE-52 and my American Fender Original Telecaster. The TE-52 cost £120.00 and the Original series Fender....... didn't! ;) Both are great guitars!

Hey Landon, I am from the U.S. My TE52 is heavy also, that is my only complaint but no big deal because I play at home sitting down. I too love the neck for my hand size. I weighed mind for a whopping 9.34 pounds. I paid $172 and change with shipping to my door. I ordered earlier in the year. The price was a little cheaper and also the shipping was cheaper at that time. I am going to leave my guitar as is, and not mod it. I'm very satisfied. If it was a little lighter it would be great! Other than that I like it. If I was to buy right now it would be $226 with shipping. The shipping has almost doubled. But, I did notice that I ordered a bass that was in stock it got here in a week. I think they use UPS now instead of DHL. It appears to get by customs quicker with UPS since they are authorized. Before it would take 4-5 weeks with an ordered item that was in stock.

To give you some perspective, I sold a Japanese Fender Aerodyne Strat and got me some HB's with no regrets. Are they as good? No. Are they that different? Not really. Besides the perfect finish, light weight, and general aesthetics, don't feel there's 1k + worth of difference. 1 - I have 2 of these [and another heavily moded te-20]. One of the TE50's is heavily modded and one is as it comes [no need to mod them at all, but I wanted to have a different config on all of them - so one of the TE-50's has a filtertron on the bridge, a P90 on the neck, 6 saddle bridge and upgraded tuners]. The first I got still had the Wilkinsons [ok, not good nor bad], the second one has the Roswells [IMHO they sounded better, but not that different. They do their job quite well so no need for swapping] 2 - Yes they are heavy. Which I actually prefer on Teles. Teles - to my mind - are workhorses. They need to feel like they'll take a beating [unlike a Gibson SG or LP] while on Strats I look for comfort mostly. 3 - Their Jazz Bass is quite good and on par with Fender's. The HBZ-5000 is a fantastic Bass but needs a different Pre-amp [the one on it buzzes a bit, but the pups are quite good]. The DC-Custom [their Vyper copy] is very decent [but dodgy finish, and too slim a neck for my hands]. Given I have bear paws instead of hands, I tend to stay away from guitars that have a shorter scale lenght and thin necks [though I do love me some Ibanez goodness], so I haven't tried their LP's to comment.

I've got the TE-70 Rosewood Its made of basswood with a neat rosewood veneer that looks killer. The weight is not as bad as yours, feels around average. Main differences between mine and yours is modern tuners, Wilkinson bridge with brass compensated saddles, and a blackwood (?) fretboard which is rosewood-y Neck has a gloss finish instead of satin and is thicc with two c's! All in all a great guitar

Looks and sounds like a tele. Nice looking for sure, pickups sound decent, For the price, it's a very nice guitar. Kind of like a CV 50's Squier, but maybe with a little fatter neck.

Been wondering about ordering this and the unknown shipping duty costs into Canada were scaring me off versus just getting a Squier CV. So thanks, you answered the question of costs! But I'm still thinking the CV is a better deal re vintage spec and resale. This has the multi slab Ash body though, and I love Ash wood bodies and this one looks sweet. Why do you have the link to the Deutsche site and not the US site?

@@landonbailey compensated brass saddles, tunners, bone nut, pots and also pickups from a Mexican standard Tele. (Yes, ceramic pickups 😀)

I think myself I'd go with the cv for one reason that it's easy to get here in Canada and also I have smaller hands so the cv neck might be better suited to me...

i got this model a few days ago and was a bit scared. The guitar hums like hell if I don't touch the strings. The hum is louder than the guitar itself. I know that single coils typically hum, but it's extremely loud. Is that normal ?
@landonbailey

shouldn't hum loudly.

It's not grounded properly. One of the ground wires may have come loose, or never got connected. It's easy enough to fix if you have a soldering iron.

I reviewed the Harley Benton pro series Fusion T HH FNT. And yes it is amazing. HB is the best budget priced gear of today. No denying that. They will be like Hyundai. Start cheap and one day luxury. Hahahahah

Is it heavier than a Squier CV? Mine weighs about 9.5 lbs, which is on the hefty side, but I don't mind it.

I also get my clothing from the dumpster. I’m not poor, I just spend all my money on guitar stuff.
