It is incredible! There's a couple other spots that are really nice too but this is the favourite 😊

We've been debating the zip line so might just go for it! We love Blue Basin as well but I think Covine might be Rose's favourite - she races up those jungle paths 😊

Most beautiful waterfalls are turure water steps and Rio seco waterfall. Definitely check these out. I have lived in Australia for 2 years and my fiancé is an Aussie. Would be cool to link and get an Aussies view on what you guys would like down here. Great footage btw ✌️

The fact you survived in the overcrowded sxxxhole Gibraltar for two months means you can survive anywhere on a yacht!

It's an interesting place for a holiday if you have a very open mind for urban exploring but I couldn't live there.

Young Cruisers Association staff members along with Sailing LaVagabonde posted on Instagram boats being demasted as they were forced under a bridge as a result of flooding from Hurricane Idalia. They were watching, laughing, and joking and found the disturbing video funny. IMHO, a true sailor or boat lover would NEVER find this funny. I loathe their heartless existence. 🤦♂️ Nice excursion! 👍

Neither one of those two really align with our interests and we don't follow them. YCA, while an excellent idea at face value, doesn't work at all in reality and has just become a kids club for young families. Nothing wrong with that obviously but leaves a void for young adventurous adults to meet up and go out, as many have said they don't want the flag up and children unloading onto their boat.

I'm planning one week in trinidad and Tobago, do I rent a car? Book a taxj to get around or take the bus? Any tips please😊
@travelsketch

It really depends on what you want to do and where you plan to spend most of your time. We have a rental car and use it to get around the city and drive to waterfalls - keep in mind Trinidadians drive on the left and the pot holes can be HUGE! We also use the TTRideshare app which is a local equivalent of Uber. The cheapest way to get around is the bus or maxi taxis - most people prefer the maxis as they're regular and you don't need to pre-buy tickets :)

That's somewhere we'd love to go if there's time, although with carnival coming up I think that will take over being our thing to do for a little while :)

Add Paria Bay and waterfall to that list! Can be accessed by hiking or by boat. I recommend the hike once you're fit enough because it's challenging but very rewarding.

Glad to see the smiles! Check out manzanilla beach, it’s beautiful. Also if you get a chance to enjoy the carnival, do. The steel drums, the costumes, they are glorious. Enjoy!❤

We were thinking about doing an "East Coast Roadtrip" so will put it on the list 😊 If we hadn't been stuck in Gibraltar so long we would have made it to this years carnival which was such a pity! By next years we hope to be done with the yard and enjoying ourselves somewhere up near the Bahamas - we hear it's amazing 🤞🤞😀

@@travelsketch YAY!!!!! The East Coast is beautiful. The Bahamas are gorgeous and I hope we get to try and enjoy it this year. Riding Rock on San Salvador has been on my bucket list to dive. We should definitely meet up.

Glad to see you are close to seeing the end. Whats the story on that crazy dual masted cat in your boat yard??
@travelsketch
Жыл бұрын
So are we! Two years down trying to fix the boat but hopefully only a few months to go before we're back on the water 🤞 Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to meet the owners of the double masted cat in Italy but we were curious about it as well! We heard from friends on the Leopard 45 next to ours that it had been around the world a couple times and recently changed hands. We'd have loved to see it sail ⛵️
