UPDATE: not necessary to cut all of the pins on the board (reasoning and pin functions below) I didn't find these pins on the main ECU wire diagram, but I found them on the cruise control and A/C wire diagrams (notice how I comment in the video that the A/C doesn't blow cold?). Pins E3-18, E3-25, and E7-34 are for the A/C, I've soldered them back and the A/C works now. Pin E4-31 is the cruise control switch signal (which likely isn't working because there is no speed signal from the speed sensor). Pin E6-15 connects to the alternator pin 1. Pin E3-8 is from the stop light switch and pin E4-13 is the wire that I cut inside and soldered to pin E3-17, but the Auto ECU worked with or without this wire connected to drive. In hindsight, the only pin I would disconnect now is E4-13 to solder to pin E3-17, but this isn't necessary to solder, but I would still sever the connection.

I've tuned on the link and the haltech. The haltech is better. They're tech support has always been incredible as well

Awesome! Now that ive watched your video, it helped me make my decision on going with haltech. I've worked with haltech a very long time ago (Haltech E6). The Link looked promising being it works with the Toyota BEAN canbus network. My goal is to still have all the creaturr comforts operational.

The fic ignition map only shows increases or decreases over oem timing. It's not a complete timing map. You're better off pulling a base map for the is300 for a standalone ecu that has a full ignition map, not just adjustments up or down like the FIC has.

You actually don’t need the factory ecu at all. There’s a company that sells a converter to maintain a/c, rpm and gauge cluster functions. It’s called All4swap they’re based in Russia.

Correct, that's an option. But good luck trying to buy it from Russia with everything going on, I'm not risking the $100. I've thought about this with mine even though the company has California listed on their webpage, but again, it's from Russia and who knows if it will even get here. There's supposedly also a way with an Arduino board and an mcp2515 candev kit that you can use to figure out Toyotas BEAN system for the A/C and gauges.

The program for the ch341a is called asprogrammer, and I had to Google it since Binh (tuner with kids) mentioned it but didn't show where to download it. It was a GitHub link, that's all I remember

That sounds fun! Are you putting in the aristo 2jz engine also? Or are you just trying to use the aristo ECU on the is300 2jz?

Actually i have gte vvti in my 2002 is300 original 5spd full arsito swap eingan + hurnss + arsito ecu. Im not comfortable with arsito AT ecu , i found ecu from jdm supra 1998+ RZ MT ecu and i install the ecu , There is a difference in the response and power I liked. The only problem supra ecu is Anglo i/o old style not can bus , i have the original ecu for is300 MT and i want dual ecu one for engine anther for body loom just like you but the AC not turn on i don't know why i check again.
