he is in GOD MODE. Total flow. I would guess he has been practising using his ears and musicality, not just a fucus on technique, but applied technique. If I could dare a comparison, Thomas Lang is somebody who has raw technique. This man applies it with deep musicality woven into his technique.

as much as clinics and specially this particular one inspires me greatly, I am miles away from reaching anywhere near this level just by rewatching and studying this video, I would be vastly grateful if anyone could suggest me books to approach this kind of drumming.

This works for samba, ok!? For baião you can use 1,2,3. This is what we use.
