What ish is saying is so true. The pod before was just really funny. If it got serious, then it would be joe speaking on a rant. Now, ish and ice can actually bring mature conversations where mal and rory weren't going to do that. It had to be funny then. now it can be both, and I enjoy that versatility and that's expanded even more with Mel and flip
@mr.simonphoenix7181

They could be serious, the difference now vs then is that is during a serious conversation. Joes doesn't just rant & bulldoze anyone else's opinion. Joe had to grow as a podcaster, which is a credit to him, but that is the difference. If Mal disagreed w/ Joe he was lying or being "too cool". If Rory disagreed w/ Joe, Joe dismissed his opinion.

@gamefantasticcuz right very different. I'm seeing all the time whenever Ish says this ppl taking it way too literally he's speaking more in general overall. Like when ish get into that real estate and construction bag. The old cast would need a guest for a conversation like that. Even ice with the nerdy tech, stuff they would need a guest for that. What I feel he's saying is the things Rory and Mal but moreso Mal could give in depth conversation about ie music industry shit, street shit etc. Those type of topics speak to a smaller demo. The corporate experience, parenting experience, etc those things are relatable to more people
