I had the good fortune to be there, and it's still one of the best concerts I ever attended.

Tim's sounds is incredible. He's not just a musician, he doesn't play, he crafts the sound. He takes in the sound of whatever instrument, guts it and just bleeds this resonance out, twisting it and warping it until he ends up with something entirely different. He creates a harsh, almost jagged resonance out of sound that could have otherwise been simple.

he explains it in an interview somewhere, basically the sounds are being fed through his computer and then back to them sort of as a mirror to build the basis of the sound and foundation

***** It is called an electric bow basically, causes the strings to vibrate due to an electromagnetic field, as I'm told.
